GRUPO EROSKI is one of the leading retail groups
in Spain, its network comprising more than 2,000
outlets. It operates mainly in the food industry,
but it also has specialty stores in such sectors as
beauty, sports and entertainment, fuel, optics and
travel.
Together with the French retailing symbol group
LES MOUSQUETAIRES and EDEKA, the largest supermarket corporation in Germany, EROSKI is part
of the ALIDIS alliance, today ranking as number
three amongst European purchasing structures.
At the core of the group there is the EROSKI cooperative, owned by workers and consumer members, who are part of its governing bodies. EROSKI does intense social work, mainly through the
EROSKI Foundation, promoting healthy lifestyles,
educating consumers, protecting the environment,
and encouraging solidarity and other fundamental
values.
In retail and distribution, MONDRAGON Corporation also includes the food group ERKOP, whose
activities revolve around the catering, cleaning,
farming and cattle raising sectors.

El GRUPO EROSKI es un destacado operador de la
distribución española, con una red que supera los
2.000 establecimientos. Su actividad se desarrolla
fundamentalmente en la distribución alimentaria
pero cuenta además con perfumerías, tiendas de
deporte, gasolineras, ópticas y agencias de viaje.
Forma parte de la alianza internacional ALIDIS
junto al grupo francés LES MOUSQUETAIRES y al
líder de la distribución alemana EDEKA, constituyendo la tercera Central de Compras Europea.
La matriz del grupo es la cooperativa EROSKI, formada por trabajadores propietarios y socios consumidores, quienes constituyen los órganos de máxima decisión de la cooperativa. EROSKI desarrolla
una intensa labor social, en gran parte canalizada
a través de Fundación EROSKI, para la promoción
de hábitos de vida saludables, la formación al consumidor, la defensa del medio ambiente y la solidaridad.
Al área de distribución de MONDRAGON pertenece
también el grupo alimentario ERKOP, que desarrolla su actividad en los sectores de catering, limpieza, ganadería y horticultura.
