GYMNASTICS REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Register for all classes at the Novato Gymnastics Center
PRIORITY 1 - PRE-REGISTRATION – For currently enrolled students
remaining in the same class only.
PRIORITY 2 - CHANGE IN LEVEL REGISTRATION – For currently enrolled
students who are changing levels at the instructor’s request or due to their
age. Processed after Priority 1, but before Priority 3.
PRIORITY 3 - OPEN REGISTRATION – For new or returning students who
are not currently enrolled.
CLASS DISCOUNTS – If you register for 2 classes/week or have a second
child registering within the same session, a $10 discount for the second child
or second class will be applied. Does not apply to Gymnastics Team,
Gymnastics Camps or Special Events.
LOCATION – Classes are taught at the Novato Gymnastics Center, 950
Seventh Street in Novato
MAKE UP POLICY – Students are allowed one make up class per session.
All make up classes must be scheduled through the front desk at the
Gymnastics Center prior to the make up date and completed before the end
of the session.
REFUND POLICY - Please see the City of Novato Activities Guide for full
policy or call the Novato Gymnastics Center for more information.
HOLIDAYS –Most holidays are covered within the schedule and those days
may not be made up unless specified by the Novato Gymnastics Center.

BIG & LITTLE
Ages: 12 months - 2 years old
Instructors teach the parents to help their children properly use
gymnastics equipment safely and effectively. Individual
movement exploration and minimal organized activities are part of
the curriculum of perceptual motor skills for toddlers. Additional
benefits are the opportunity to socialize with other children of the
same age, learn to share, and follow simple directions.

YELLOW STARS
This is the first level of structured gymnastics without
parent participation. Class emphasis is on
fundamental gymnastics positions and skills on all
gymnastics apparatus and floor exercise as well as
gross motor skill activities, games and individual
movement exploration, emphasizing social as
well as physical development.

Preschool Drop-in Days
Ages: 3-5 year olds
A more loosely structured version of our regular
45-minute preschool class. Perfect for those with
busy schedules who can’t commit to a whole
session or for those who would like some extra fun
time in the gym. Open to new or currently enrolled
students. No parents allowed on the floor.

Fees:
1 class: $15 resident, $28 non-resident
5 classes: $65 resident, $78 non-resident
10 classes: $115 resident, $128 non-resident
Space is limited. Minimum of 3 students total required for
class to run. Not available when the gymnastics center is
closed for breaks or holidays.
RED STARS
Ages: 4 year olds
Gross and fine motor skill activities, cooperative games, individual movement
exploration are the emphasis at this level with fundamental recreational
gymnastics skills on all apparatus and floor exercise.

Recreational Gymnastics Classes

The recreational gymnastics program is for boys and girls age six and
up. Students will be taught positions, drills, and skills in the artistic
gymnastics events including tumbling, bars, vault, balance beam (girls),
rings (boys) and pommel horse (boys). The goal in recreational classes
is to have fun learning basic through advanced gymnastics skills in a
safe environment. Students must have instructor’s recommendation to
progress to a higher level or invitation only class.

A loosely structured class for older teens and adults who are interested in learning basic
gymnastics skills, or for experienced gymnasts who want to continue their gymnastics
training. Drop-in fee, with signed waiver, for one day is $25 residents/$28 non residents
and can be paid by check or credit card only – no cash accepted at class. Please call
ahead.
Participants under 18 years old must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
