Laurens Baptist Association Mission Statement:
“The Laurens Baptist Association is committed to assisting the
churches in fulfilling the Great Commission and serving others
through God’s grace and love.”
()The week of May 15th was Law Enforcement Appreciation Week.
The Laurens Baptist Association had two events on that week to
show all of our Law Enforcement men and women how
much we
appreciate them and are thankful for them. On the 17th we had the
administration of all the different Law Enforcement offices (12
different offices) at the Laurens Baptist Office for a meal and we
presented
each office a plaque showing our appreciation. Then of
the 19th we served meals to all the Law Enforcement officers and
personnel at the Georgia State Patrol office. We also gave each
individual a letter of appreciation and a coin. This coin is engraved
with a law enforcement prayer for them to carry in their pockets. We
had different individuals from our churches along with Betty
Williams of Betty Williams Catering and Bill Crooms of our local
Sonny’s BBQ who gave and helped out with these events. We are
thankful for all of our Law Enforcement persons and all they do for
us. They do make many sacrifices along with their families. They
keep us safe. We need to keep them in our prayers and support them
in any way we possibly can.
Also, on May 19th, we held a Volunteer Appreciation Banquet for all
of our LBA Volunteers. We cannot and couldn’t do all that we do
without our dedicated volunteers at our LBA Ministry Center and
J.O.Y. Clinic!

to Bland, West Virginia. They will actually
hand-out the backpacks! This is always a
blessed event!
OUR GOAL FOR 2016 IS:

be a part of this ministry of giving to needy
children. Please deliver all back packs to the
LBA no later than Monday, November 28,
2016.
The Laurens Baptist Association Ministry
Center has a real need for clothing at this time
(especially men). Anything you can contribute
will be greatly appreciated! The Ministry hours

The Dublin Ministry Center is located at
300 N Calhoun St in Dublin. The center is
open on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The hours are 10am-2pm. The Bible Studies are
on Tuesdays at 10:00am and Thursdays at
10:30am.
The Cadwell Ministry Center is open on
the 1st and 3rd Thursdays 9:00am 1:00pmBible Study is the 2nd & 4th
