ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. ELDERS LEADERSHIP TRAINING: Elder s Leader ship tr aining will
continue today, Sabbath July 30, 2016 at 5:00 PM for all new and un-ordained
elders. This will take place in the Conference Room.
2. HEALTH MINISTRIES TIP: Engaging in about an hour of br isk walking or other moderate-intensity activity each day can negate the increased
mortality risk associated with sitting for prolonged periods, suggests a review in the Lancet medical journal. The study also found watching TV for
more than 3 hours daily was associated with increased mortality.
3. SMALL GROUP TRAINING: All those who signed up for Small Gr oup
Leadership Training along with all Elders are invited to our training on Sabbath August 6, 2016 immediately after Divive Service.
4. INTERNATIONAL DAY: The Social Committee Inter national Day has
been scheduled for Sunday August 28, 2016. Details to follow.
5. WOULD YOU LIKE TO TAKE BIBLE STUDIES? The Bible Studies will
continue this Sabbath July 30, 2016 at 5:00 PM in the sanctuary. The topic to be
covered will be from the Book of Revelation. All interested persons are asked to
attend. Please feel free to ask questions.
6. CHURCH SECURITY: All member s inter ested in joining the Secur ity
Team, (men and women) please meet with Bro. Jimmy Rivera on Sabbath
August 6, 2016 at 4:00 PM in the Conference Room.
7. TOWN HALL MEETING TODAY: We will be having our second Town
Hall Meeting today immediately after Divine Service to provide an update
on current church projects and proposed future plans. You may send questions in advance to [email protected].
8. CHURCH PICNIC: The entir e chur ch family and the community ar e
invited to the Annual Picnic on tomorrow, July 31, 2016 starting at
10:00AM at the Warinenco Park, Roselle, New Jersey. Come and enjoy a
day of fun and games. Invite your friends and family and bring your food!
9. NEW JERSEY SENATE BILL: A pr oposed amendment to New J er sey
Senate Bill 788 (S788) would deny the public access to police cameras and
911 recordings. If you believe that our government should be more transparent, you can contact your local political officials and let them know that you

10. FIFTY PLUS MINISTRY: The next meeting is scheduled for Sabbath
August 13, 2016 in the Conference Room immediately after Divine Service.

11. WOMEN’S MINISTRY RETREAT: All ladies ar e invited to the upcoming Women Ministries retreat scheduled for October 7-9, 2016. The
retreat will be held at Eddy Farms, 300 Eddy Farm Road, P.O. Box 500
Sparrow Bush, New York 12780.Please return the completed application
to Elder Marthe Leveille.
12 MARRIED COUPLES RETREAT: The Annual Mar r ied Couples Retreat is scheduled for November 5, 6, 2016 at the Crystal Springs Resort,
1 Wild Turkey Way, Hamburg, NJ 07419. The cost is $350.00. For more

13. WOMEN’S MINISTRIES: A Women’s Ministry trip to Central Park,
NYC is scheduled for Sabbath August 6, 2016 immediately after Divine
Service. Plan to change to comfortable picnic clothing and come to make
the evening special for your little sisters. Please bring your blankets.
14. BUSINESS RECOGNITION: Our Public Relations team headed by
Sis. Avril Limage is planning to start a Church Business Directory which
will be made available to our members and in the community. You can
register by filling out a card and giving it to the ushers.
