LACARA
A U G U S T
I N C O R P O R A T E D
The Lacara Series was
developed to meet the
requirements of high traffic,
high density seating installations while maintaining the
friendly sculptural art forms,
for which our area seating is
known. Upholstery covers,
table tops and bases are easy
to maintain and to replace
on site. Fabric yardage
is minimized, and plastic
laminate in its many colors
and textures plays an increased role on all surfaces.
The benefits of durability
and easy maintenance yield
high economic returns; the
flexibility in colors, textures
and design forms maximize
aesthetic returns. We hope
you enjoy using the Lacara
Series.
With Lacara even small
conversation areas are transformed into exciting indoor
landscapes. Base and side
plates present a continuous
array of interesting planes
and shapes. Their laminate
surfaces allow unlimited
opportuities for color coordination to fabrics and other
installation surfaces. Comfort
is remarkable!
The Lacara Series is a blend of architectural
simplicity and contemporary detailing
which creates visual pleasure from all angles.
A variety of rectangular and curvilinear
tables and benches, as well as arms has been
designed to complement the seating, not
only by uniting form with function, but
also with the patented construction of
the system. The result, as shown by the
curvilinear arrangement on the left, is a
sculptural art form unmistakably August.
Design Features
The Lacara Series brings together
design and maintenance solutions
for high use areas. Replaceable,
adjustable covers, easy clean laminate
tables and bases—even non-skid
glides for tile floors—make practical
the creative design of seating groups
for public areas.
Coordinating benches are available
in rectangular and segment sizes.
Side plates #5099 are needed to finish the left
end and right end of each seating group.
Tables are available in laminate colors.
Black is standard for base and side plates;
laminate colors are optional at an up charge.
Upholstery covers cleanable, replaceable and
adjustable. Low fabric yardage.
Base plates, side plates and tables
are replaceable on site.
Triangular and segment tables complete
design options to service seating groups.
Rectangular tables fit between chairs, benches
or at the end of seating groups.
Patented process allows covers to be retensioned in minutes without tools, correcting
fabric changes due to wear or cleaning
Matching upholstered mid-arms and end
arms offer options to divide seating spaces
and finishing seating groups.
Metal connector plates join frames at front
and back. Frame sides hardwood plywood;
frame rails maple; seats and backs cross-webbed.
Leveler stainless steel glides are standard.
Hard rubber non-skid glides are optional for
tile and other hard surface flooring.
