Size Sorting Bones
Children will develop the ability to compare threee or more objects and to order
them by size. Children will also gain vocabulary needed to describe size. This
knowledge will hold and important foundation for the concept of measurement.
Make copies of the three different size dog bowls onto cardstock and laminate.
Have children sort the differ
different size dog bones into the right size bowl.
For this activity you will need to purchase
purchase a supply of milk bones in different sizes.
