PRE-FIT NOTES

s a competitive road cyclist who is being fit on her Trek road bike. Her goal is to build overall fitness and become more comfortable on
the bike. She currently trains 10 hours per week.
Based on the pre fit assessment, she does not appear to have any physical limitations that would impact him in achieving a neutral fit. She
demonstrates high flexibility and core strength.
Her bike appears to be in good working condition.
Jill warmed up on the Computrainer at 125 watts. She was prepared for 3D Motion Capture by marking the following eight anatomical
structures with infrared markers:
Head of the 5th Metatarsal Head (forefoot), Distal end of the Calcaneus (heel), Lateral Malleolus (ankle), Lateral Femoral Condyle (knee),
Greater Trochanter (hip), Acromion (shoulder), Lateral Epicondyle (elbow), and Ulna (wrist).
DURING-FIT NOTES
20 second data captures were taken at 200 watts. 3D angles and other fit parameters represent an average of the number of events
recorded within the capture time.
The following changes were made:
- Raised saddle 13mm
- Moved saddle aft 8mm
- Adjusted right cleat aft (foot forward) to align with left foot
- Tilted saddle to -1 degree for comfort and ability to change pelvis rotation
- Replaced stem with 90mm/+6
POST-FIT NOTES
After a bike fit where rider position is changed, there is a short period of time when the body undergoes adaptation to the those changes.
This period of adaptation varies from rider to rider depending on several factors including the extend of changes made training volume, and
fitness level. Also, equipment changes such as a new saddle require adaptation. During this time (suggest a minimum of 10 hours of riding
unless discomfort becomes pain), it is recommended that you reduce your riding intensity to ensure the adaptation process is a success. It
is normal to experience some different muscle usage and stresses.
Recommendations:
- Work on relaxing shoulders and arms while riding
