DAKHLA, located about 1000km south of Essaouira, is situated on a 48
km long and 4km wide headland creating a huge lagoon which stretches
into the Atlantic Ocean. On the north east of this coastline we found a
perfect location for our new center. The center can be reached within 20
minutes drive from the airport at Dakhla which is situated in the south
of the peninsula. Flights to Dakhla are from all European airports via
Casablanca. This spot is still an insider tip but the development of Dakhla
into another kitesurfers and windsurfers Mecca is coming! Thanks to
unbelievable conditions this spot will definitely become one of the top
spots in Morocco. Constant winds and pleasant temperatures all year
long make the spot as famous in winter as it is in summer. Inside the
lagoon flat water and unlimited space create ideal conditions for beginners and intermediates as well as for flat water and freestyle freaks.
Those who would like to make an excursion to the waves will also be
happy here since on the Atlantic side there are perfect wave spots which
can be reached within a short distance by car. Our center is part of a
concept which includes bungalows and restaurants. Through the layout
and the facilities of this complex we aim to create a unique atmosphere
which gives you the possibility to feel at home, relax and experience a
holiday with lots of action on the water which you will not forget in a hurry.
ESSAOUIRA the perfect all round spot of Morocco is Essaouira. Four
different sports are offered - windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing and SUP and
guarantee a diverse and exciting holiday program. Apart from perfect conditions on the water Essaouira also has lots to offer on land. The beautiful
small harbour town invites you to wander around and go shopping, giving
you the chance to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the orient.

THE SPOT IN DAKHLA
Dakhla, untouched and far away from mass tourism, is a rough diamond,
a kitesurfing and windsurfing mecca which is absolutely unique. Our brand
new Club Mistral & Skyriders center is located on the north-eastern side
of the huge lagoon of Dakhla. Thanks to constantly blowing winds, the
spot offers fantastic conditions throughout the whole year with flat water
and more than enough space. Not only beginners, but also experts and all
other levels will find the perfect playground for having fun. An added bonus
is the different wave spots on the other side of the peninsula, which can be
reached within no time by car. We offer all 4 sports in Dakhla: windsurfing,
kitesurfing, surfing and SUP. Thanks to the countless possibilities to run
riot on the water, your holiday will be diverse and unique and a fantastic
time is guaranteed.
WIND AND WAVES
320 days with constant winds make Dakhla a true paradise! Coming from
north-east, the wind blows side shore from the right. The water is flat close
to the shore and gets a little bit choppier further outside. The wave spots
on the Atlantic Coast allure with constant side shore/side-onshore winds,
which are normally a few knots lighter than inside the lagoon. There is a
big difference between high and low tide inside the lagoon, and with low
tide the way to the water gets a bit longer. However, you don´t have to
worry … our team on site will make sure that for you no way is too long.
THE CENTER
Occupying 300
our Club Mistral & Skyriders center offers more than
enough space for equipment, a shop and a cosy chill-out area with a direct
view over the spot. The terrace of the center is protected from the wind
and thus offers non-surfing family members or partners the perfect place
to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The Ocean Vagabond Restaurant is
located right next to the center.

Ocean Vagabond Dakhla I The Ocean Vagabond Dakhla sits on the northern end of a 40 km lagoon in the very south of Morocco. The town of Dakhla and the airport are 28 km away.
The complex consists of various wooden bungalows with 3 beds, shower/WC and terrace. Depending on the tide the water level comes close to the bungalows so you can almost jump out of bed and right onto your board. The adjoining restaurant and bar accommodate all guests with full board. The spot in
Dakhla is off the beaten path and you can enjoy tranquillity and sharing your passion with like-minded surfers.
