Effective Monday August 28th, 2006 the Canadian distribution of the attached Peanuts & Corn
products will change from Sonic Unyon Records to Fontana North.
In order to make the transition as easy as possible for all customers, the following steps have been
agreed upon by Sonic Unyon Records and Fontana North.
ORDERS:
Effective Friday August 25th, 2006, Sonic Unyon Records will cancel all back orders for the attached
Peanuts & Corn titles. Effective Monday August 28th, 2006 Fontana North will solicit all orders, and
ship all attached Peanuts & Corn titles. Please note that orders transmitted via EDI will be accepted
by Fontana North effective Saturday August 26th, 2006. There are no changes to the UPC’s or
catalogue numbers. Fontana North pricing is indicated on the attached listing.
RETURNS:
Sonic Unyon Records will accept return requests for the attached Peanuts & Corn products until
Friday August 25th, 2006. Fontana North will accept return requests beginning Monday August 28th,
2006 and will issue credit subject to the Universal Music Canada “General Terms and Conditions of
Sale”.
ADVERTISING:
Sonic Unyon will be responsible for Peanuts & Corn advertising claims issued before Friday August
25th, 2006. Fontana North will be responsible for advertising claims issued after Monday August
28th, 2006.

Fela) slow-burning tempo that
effectively maintains its slow,

Philosophically, Fela's
lyrics deplore poverty and
government inadequacy. His

Caledonia is a four-piece indie rock
band from Halifax, Nova Scotia with a
staggering live show and a burgeoning
Canadian following. Smelted in a crazy
horse crucible, forged in the coals of
post-rock, wrought with the salacious
slag of 70's brit pop, and christened with
a stolen bottle of jamacan ska, their
newest recording is set for release this

Waiting to Burn was recorded over 8
months, in surges, whenever the band
could convene from the places their
avocations took them; from Mexico,
Belize, Uganda and the outports of
Newfoundland, from Calgary and the
Yukon, from lectures and insular
practice rooms in Halifax and Montreal.

A Year In The Life
St. Catharines based 5 - piece melodic power
punk rock band FYI knows how to steal a
show. The combination of their high-energy
live performances and creative, hooky
songwriting has earned them a HUGE
following in the Niagara region. FYI has not
only been a creative outlet for its five
members but has grown to include
fundraising tours for such causes as
Hurricane Katrina Relief, the Red Cross,
and War Child. In this past year FYI has
raised and donated almost ten thousand

Grow up in Windsor Ontario Canada and you
grow up in Detroit Rock City. With just a mile
of water separating the two cities, the
influences run deep. Living in the shadow of
the US, LODOWN initially focused south, east
and west, honing their live show and quickly
selling out of debut ep “800x600”(2000) and
full length follow up “Shadowbox Broadcast”
(2003). The band comes equipped with a
near legendary and the loyal following who
swear by the band and come from all walks of
life to experience what some critics have
called “the saviour of live rock music”.
In 2003, LODOWN crossed paths with famed
Canadian producer Darius Szczepaniak, who
was to become the catalyst for a series of
recording sessions that resulted in the birth of
“Black Horse”. The beauty of this album lies in
the eclectic nature of the music and gives the
band an almost cult-like sensibility. Songs like
“Dirty Heshan” which is driven by traditional
heavy riffs, is placed alongside epic styled
pieces like the title track “Black Horse”. It’s
these contrasts and unique song writing
sensibilities that give the albums a very ominous
and heavy feeling. There is definitely weight to
this band.
Rock and roll can be dangerous again. There
are new areas within the genre to be explored
and celebrated. LODOWN is a band leading the
way towards a new horizon in rock and roll.
Believe in this band, they might just be the most
important rock band to come a long in quite
some time.

What It Takes
Donny recorded fiddle and mandolin on his first of many
Neal McCoy master sessions, which produced number one
hits such as: (Wink), (No Doubt About It). He also played
on many top ten hits like The City Put The Country Back In
Me, If I Was A Drinking Man, & The Shake only to name a
few. Donny also appeared in several of Neal McCoy’s
videos. He has done other sessions for artists such as
Mila Mason, Doug Stone and Brian White.
Donny has had the opportunity to perform on the same
stage as the following artists: Merle Haggard, Buck
Owens, George Jones, Charlie Pride, Loretta Lynn, Charlie
Daniels, Hank Williams JR, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks,
Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, and many more.
Donny retired from Neal McCoy’s band in 2002 as a
consummate performer and well seasoned musician. While
employed as a fiddle player for 12 years, Donny was able
to experience few things that many musicians only dream
of, including traveling world-wide, performing several times
on the stage at the Grand Ole’ Opry, Crook and Chase,
Nashville Now, Prime Time Country and appearing on The
Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Donny left Neal McCoy with
what he calls a MASTERS DEGREE in ENTERTAINING.
Donny returned to his hometown of Prince Albert,
Saskatchewan, Canada, where he was born and raised to
pursue his own career in the Country Music Industry. Not
only does Donny have a natural quality and style of
entertainment that encompasses the whole audience, he
also commands attention with his versatile ability to bring
many instruments to life. These include the fiddle, of
course, but also mandolin, acoustic and electric guitar and the
unique double neck mando-caster/electric guitar. His superior
vocal ability stems from country classics to blues and rock.
Since his return to Canada, Donny has performed with his
band all over Western Canada and continues to do so. Donny
released his first single across Canada in 2004 called
The Great Unknown which went #1 four weeks in a row on
NCI FM in Manitoba.
Donny has also taken home seven SCMA Awards and has
very proudly been nominated
for the 2006 CCMA Fiddle Player of the year.
