THE TARGA 38 IS A TRULY
INFECTIOUS SPORTS CRUISER
In typical Fairline style, it handles impeccably thanks to its
world-renowned hull and sparkling engine dynamics from the
latest generation of Volvo Penta outdrives. With four different
engine options, ranging from the D4-260 to the unbelievably quick
D6-400, you can be assured that all levels of adrenalin-fuelled
excitement are catered for. In its OPEN form, the Targa 38 provides
pure convertible fun with the largest roof-opening area for a boat
of this size.
Panoramic windows in the galley and saloon let the light pour in,
making this Targa feel like a much larger boat. There is ample room
for friends and family to join you on board for a day of activities,
whilst at night up to 7 people can easily sleep in pure comfort.
Below, the large forward master cabin receives natural light from
the twin portholes and deck hatch, whilst the guest cabin defies
the norm with three large vertical hull windows to each side of the
cabin. Remarkably, a third berth can be created within the guest
cabin with an optional sofa bed.

Whether you choose OPEN or GT, you are assured of a wonderful
open-to-the-skies experience, where the warmth and sociability
of your environment is allowed to flood in. Look beyond the exciting,
sun-loving nature of these models and you will find new technologies
and exceptional engineering - everything you would expect from
a Fairline. The hull, for instance, has been specifically designed by
Fairline to complement the Volvo Penta IPS engines, resulting in even
more precise, dancing-on-water handling.
The Targa 48 OPEN is a beautifully appointed twin cabin, double
en suite model that is designed to be the perfect choice for those who
favour free-flowing sociable areas both inside and out. This is further
enhanced when the electric canvas roof is open to the skies above.
Accommodation below deck includes a mid master and a forward
double, with V-berth conversion, as well as a galley with full-height
fridge/freezer and spacious saloon/dinette with optional sofa bed
or third cabin. To help you enjoy your surroundings, there’s a garage
for an optional jet tender and a submersible bathing platform.
The Targa 48GT features an electric hard top roof with the option
of panelled glazing to let more light flood in. Moving through the boat
you’ll find a luxuriously spacious, sociable upper deck that offers
plentiful seating, in addition to a well-appointed helm station with
twin seats. The cockpit features a J-shaped seating area with
a table, and can offer the option of a sunbed conversion. The lower
deck has a saloon/dinette as standard, with an optional third cabin

BUILT ON THE PRINCIPLE
OF NO COMPROMISE
We looked at how people wanted to move around a boat of this size,
how much space they ideally needed and how they would like things
laid out. Our naval architects and designers then went back to
the drawing board until we had created the space required for
voluminous rooms with a true ‘luxury apartment’ feel. The result
is a sports cruiser that’s as striking inside as it is outside.
Of course, this is a true GRAN TURISMO and the smooth-sliding
roof, large windows and rear glazing open up the whole boat to the
world surrounding you.
The Targa 50 has been designed with sociability in mind. The galley
has been positioned aft so you can prepare food and drinks while
remaining at the centre of any activities, and the hull design has
allowed for more floor space to move around freely and pass one
another comfortably.
This really comes into its own in the master cabin that defies its
position in the hull to offer a luxuriously wide room with a large
en suite. Equally impressive are the two twin guest cabins, both of
which can be easily converted to provide double beds, and a real
rarity on a boat of this size is the large lazarette, or optional crew
cabin. On deck, the hydraulically-powered sunshade keeps the
cockpit seating area delightfully free from direct sunlight.

cruiser with striking good looks. But the real attraction lies in its
large, open cockpit that features a J-shaped seating and dining
area sitting ahead of a luxuriously large sunpad.
It is here, in the perfectly formed cockpit, that you and your
guests can truly enjoy this Targa. Take a seat or stretch out on the
sumptuous sunpad, while taking full advantage of the fully-equipped
bar and BBQ. And if a swim takes your fancy, you can enjoy the
wonderfully large submersible bathing platform. Discreetly housed
underneath the sunpad is an integral garage that provides the perfect
home for a Williams 325 Jet RIB. Or, if you prefer, this space can be
fitted out as a crew cabin.
Moving through this sociable boat you will find a generously
proportioned indoor seating area where you can simply open the
retractable hard top roof and direct the large side windows to gently
drop down to create a wonderful alfresco environment, with the
perfectly appointed galley being very much part of this enjoyable space.
Below, you will find the stunning full-width master cabin and
beautifully presented en suite. More akin to a boutique hotel room,
they are both spacious and inviting with each guest cabin also

The result is a compact Squadron with the genuine feeling of a much,
much larger yacht. Each area has been designed to work in harmony
with the next. Your journey through the entire yacht is seamless, with
no interruptions, illuminated by vast, panoramic and feature windows.
Even the extensive flybridge has been carefully considered to create
plenty of space for you and your guests to move around freely.
The cockpit seat quickly converts into a rear-facing lounger to create
a sociable terrace area, perfect for watching over those taking a swim.
Inside, the master cabin has feature skylights and the starboard
guest cabin’s en suite has two doors that open wide to give the
room a more spacious and opulent feel. This is the smallest boat in
Fairline’s range to offer the hydraulically-powered Tender Launch

Here, beautiful rooms have been created, not mere cabins. In terms
of both equipment and styling, the huge, airy saloon is an example
of interior design at its very best, framed by enormous panoramic
windows. The aft positioned galley places you right at the heart of the
action and helps deliver the perfect, sociable alfresco environment.
The spectacular, light-filled master cabin with its panoramic hull
windows and overhead glazed panels boast dimensions that would
shame many 60ft boats - a testament to Fairline’s design initiatives.
You’ll also find two beautifully appointed guest cabins, as well as
two large en suite bathrooms. An optional fourth cabin with feature
window can be easily accessed from the cockpit. The flybridge is
larger than previously seen on a boat of this size, providing plentiful
areas for entertaining and relaxing. Fairline’s Tender Launch System
is designed for effortless tender handling and can accommodate
watercraft up to the size of a Williams 285 Jet RIB.

It’s strong yet elegant avant-garde appearance hints at exciting
things to come from its impeccably designed interior.
Large living areas flow effortlessly from one to another, always
seeming to defy their position in the boat. The sumptuous mid-ship
master cabin, for instance, has been designed to create more space
for a larger en suite and a longitudinal bed, a luxury you would
typically associate with much larger yachts.
The saloon area provides an expansive, uninterrupted entertaining
area. A few steps down from the large, open cockpit, you can take a
graceful dip in the water from the large submersible bathing platform
and then enjoy the luxury overhead shower, that stows itself away in
the transom after use.
The fully equipped flybridge provides a huge area to relax and
entertain as you make good use of the bar with its griddle, fridge,
sink and optional icemaker. Of course, with Fairline’s customary
sea keeping and performance this is also the ideal place for pure
wind in the hair driving pleasure.

production teams at the shipyard, staying abreast of the latest design
trends and developments, as well as the advanced construction and
engineering techniques we use. They also advise on the practicalities
of production and ownership and consult with you throughout the
building programme to achieve the perfect end result.
The Yacht Division team provides support for the entire globe,
so whether simply helping you choose a colour scheme in one of
our luxury customer lounges, arranging VIP transport for progress
meetings at the factory, or flying your consultant to wherever you
might be to meet with you, we will make sure the path to ownership

What’s more, the carefully thought-through aft cabin has two unique
personalities. You can specify it as a guest cabin with access via the
cockpit, or as a crew cabin with its own access through the transom.
Either way, the space is well appointed and the large panoramic
windows flood the interior with light.
Having uncomplicated, single floor levels that are wide and long is
normally reserved for much larger yachts, but our designers have
achieved just that on this 65-footer. The long, wide single-level saloon
allows guests to interact more freely and with the galley positioned
at the heart of the yacht there is every opportunity to socialise with
all those around you.
The master cabin enjoys a spacious, open-plan en suite and the
forward cabin features a floating bed design - both have substantial
wardrobe and storage space. Outside, the submersible bathing
platform gradually introduces you to the water and is the perfect
way to launch your tender.

The Squadron 78’s design places heavy items (fuel, for instance)
over the centre of buoyancy, which gives it great sea keeping
properties, a pleasant sound and low vibration throughout.

configurations, and the potential to extend the owner’s suite.
