We at HealthForce feel much gratitude for your ongoing support We are 1000% committed to
producing the most beneficial, potent, pure and therapeutic products on the planet. It is our core
company mission and passion to serve the world in this way.
As you may be aware, Whole Foods Market has decided to temporarily stop selling HealthForce
products. The reasons Whole Foods has given us for this decision are: 1.) They are concerned about
potential FDA label compliance issues; and 2.) They are concerned about our open litigation with
Prop 65 in the state of California.
Our Response:
We are working in full cooperation with Whole Foods Market so that we can get our products back onto the shelves as
quickly as possible.
Regarding FDA Label Compliance:
Our production facility is registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is routinely inspected. We are
also an NSF Certified Facility (www.NSF.org). NSF audits the facility twice a year to make sure it is fully compliant with
the FDA CFR 111 Current Good Manufacturing Practices in manufacturing, packaging, labeling, or holding operations
for dietary supplements. Additionally, we continually work with label consultants to ensure FDA label compliance.
Anytime there has been an issue raised in our audits, we’ve corrected it immediately. It is common for the FDA to try to
find issues with product labels. However, on their last visit to us, The FDA reviewed all of our labels for compliance and
we were passed 100%. Regardless, we have hired the FDA label consultant that Whole Foods recommended and are doing
a thorough internal label review to upgrade our labels to full compliance with Whole Foods Market standards, as it is
apparent that their interpretation of FDA standards is different. We are in full cooperation with Whole Foods Market on
this so that we can ensure our labels meet their standards so we can get back onto their shelves.
Regarding Prop 65:
We are in the midst of an open case with the State of California for Prop 65 citations on a number of HealthForce
products. As with most botanical products, our cited products are above the Prop 65 levels for lead, because the law does
not differentiate between the toxic, isolated forms of lead, and the nontoxic naturally occurring form of lead botanically
bound in all plants. Nature and God put these in there, not anyone else! We stand behind the safety and quality of our

In the initial phases of our litigation, we chose to take a strong stance for the entire industry by refuting the citations and
presenting data on the difference between isolated, toxic heavy metals and those that naturally occur in plants. We are
but one of many companies being unfairly targeted by Prop 65 litigation. However, we were – and still are – the only
one who stood up and fought this unfair litigation to the level that we did. Unfortunately, this brought the spotlight on
HealthForce, and created unforeseen consequences, such as Whole Foods Market pulling our products from their shelves.
Our litigation is now in the process of being resolved (we hired the legal counsel that Whole Foods recommended). In the
meantime, we are fully compliant with Prop 65, as we are applying the legal warning to all cited products in the state of
California. In the future, we hope to be able to legally remove the Prop 65 warning.
Additionally, we have two products that were flagged for particularly high lead levels. The first was Nopal Blood Sugar™,
which is wildcrafted in pristine desert conditions, subject to minimal industrial pollution. Nature and God made Nopal
this way and it has never shown any toxicity in anyone. However, to address concerns raised by this issue (all customer
concerns are a concern of ours), we have since dramatically lowered the lead content in this product by switching to a
different growing location. The second product is Intestinal Drawing Formula™. This is due to the zeolites used in the
formula. All zeolites contain high levels of matrix-bound heavy metals, which present no toxicity to the body, as these
metals are bound inside a molecular cage, and are not absorbed by the body. They actually play a critical role in helping
to attract heavy metals in the body inside their molecular cages. So, ironically, a product that actually helps detox heavy
metals is flagged for high metal content! This is due to improper understanding of matrix-bound metals and how zeolites
work in the body. The same applies to our product ZeoForce™. This is also the mechanism by which bentonite (which also
fails California’s Prop 65 levels) and all other clays work.
Our production facility does extensive testing of all ingredients, above and beyond regulatory requirements. Every
incoming ingredient is tested for identity, micro-contamination, and heavy metals. The same tests are done on the finished
blend, and further tests are done on the finished product. We are using the latest HP-TLC (High Performance Thin Layer
Chromatography) technology to ensure that only the highest quality ingredients are used. For an ingredient to be used in
one of our products, the supplier must be qualified first through an extensive questionnaire which is then followed up by
3rd party Certificate of Analysis testing and then, for our legendary TruGanic™ products, our unique 3rd Party TruGanic™
testing: GMO-free (zero detected), Irradiation-free (zero detected), and Pesticide-free (zero detected – we test for 283+
pesticides). We are the only company to our knowledge that does this extensive level of testing for assurance of product
purity. Additionally, our facility only uses 100% non-toxic, organic compliant and biodegradable cleaning chemicals (far
beyond what is required by USDA Organic). Our production area is a radio frequency-free zone (no microwaves, Wi-Fi, or
cell phones permitted) and has electromagnetic radiation (EMF) mitigating technologies (also not required by the Organic
industry standard or any other standard). We have proudly pioneered, and continue to uphold and further develop, the
highest standards for product purity in the industry.
It’s important to clarify that there has been no “recall” by either the FDA or the State of California. This is solely a Whole
Foods Market decision. All HealthForce products and labels are currently within FDA law, as well as California law, now
that we are applying the Prop 65 warning to the cited products. We’re also working to reduce the naturally occurring
heavy metals in our products to the lowest levels possible, without removing highly nutrient dense botanicals, and without
excessively reducing our serving size (which would lower the therapeutic value). We’re doing this because, even though
the heavy metals in our products are naturally occurring and have never presented issues of toxicity to consumers, we
are aware that high metals still make some customers uncomfortable due to lack of education. Unlike other companies,
we offer the most therapeutic serving sizes, and therefore, our products are actually higher in many nutrients, minerals
included, and in some cases, heavy metal minerals. If we lowered our serving sizes to ineffective levels (a strategy some
companies are taking to be Prop 65 compliant), our products would no longer perform their intended functions, and this
is unacceptable to us from an ethical standpoint. Unfortunately, this puts us under scrutiny by litigation that does not
differentiate between toxic isolated heavy metals and naturally occurring heavy metal minerals bound by Nature and God
into botanicals. Heavy metal minerals also include the following: zinc, chromium, selenium, iron, copper, and manganese,
all of which are in the botanically bound form when found in whole plant-based foods or matrix bound clays such as those
