Lakeshore YMCA Silent Auction
Lakeshore YMCA, 23401 Jefferson in St. Claur Shores, is sponsoring a silent auction for scholarships to help underprivileged children in our area to gain mentorship
in programs offered through the YMCA. The event will take place behind St. Lucy’s
Church on Jefferson, south of 9 Mile Road, in the gymnasium on September 26
from 6:30-9pm.
The auction will include children’s art for $10 and adult art starting at $35. THIS
IS A DONATION OF YOUR ART. We are not looking for high-end art; prints in a
simple frame to allow affordable pricing, or a painted original in a decent frame
are good. The gain for us will be to help kids in our area. All donations will be tax
deductible.
Entertainment will be furnished at 8pm. Appetizers and dessert will be served.
Admission for non-art contributors is $3 per person or $10 per family. Drop off of art
is Tuesday, September 23rd-Thursday, September 25th at the YMCA office. We will
need easels if you can provide any.
Pickup of art not bid on will be Thursday, October 2nd and Friday, October 3rd.
