Cross-over
EXPERT SERIES crossovers are meticulously designed using a minimal number of ultra low
tolerance components for true uncolored audio reproduction. All inductors are made from 20 awg
pure copper air core windings that will not saturate even at extreme levels. Boost and cut
switches, which can color your audio and reduce efficiency, have been eliminated. Heavy duty
gold plated binding posts and thick glass-fiber circuit boards eliminate vibrations and increase
reliability.
Mounting Clips
EXPERT SERIES speakers feature extra heavy duty quick mounting "L" clips that lock the
speaker firmly in place and eliminate vibration.
Woofer
EXPERT SERIES pure anodized aluminum cones produce deep bass and high efficiency with
edge wound copper voice coils. Aluminum is lighter and more rigid than polypropylene or Kevlar
and cone deformation is minimized even at extreme levels. This translates to crystal clear audio
reproduction that’s faithful to the original recording.
Tweeter
EXPERT SERIES tweeters are ready for the highest resolution HD audio. All EXPERT SERIES
speakers share the same one inch silk dome neodymium super tweeter which extends high
frequency sound to an astounding 40kHz! Super tweeters are suspended by a specially designed
"V" bridge that minimizes diffraction and frequency cancellations. Ultra wide dispersion makes
adjustable tweeters obsolete, and keeps the listener in the “sweet spot” no matter where they are
positioned in the room.
Rough-In Brackets
EXPERT SERIES in-ceiling speakers include rough-in brackets. which can span up to 31 inches.
They protect the ceiling material, provide support for the speaker and reduce installation time by
up to two thirds.
Expert Series rough-in brackets are also sold separately.
