economical benchtop fume hoods that have CAP and CLIA certifications. Our fume hoods are
specifically designed to manage manual histological processes thus providing protection of the
histologist and adjacent room occupants.

Three Popular Styles
Open-Front Fume Hood: Model accommodates the TBS SHURWave™ microwave tissue processor. Available in 36” or 48” widths.
Sloped-Front Fume Hood:Utilizes hinged sashes for manual grossing and/
or staining applications. Available in 36” or 48” widths. Meets operator face
velocity requirements of published industry standards with sashes closed.
Downdraft Fume Hood: For manual coverslipping applications that utilize
Xylene based mounting medium.
Built-In Filtration For Easy Placement
The SC-36S-X/F models has a built-in updraft filter for areas where external HVAC ventilation
is not available or possible. It’s an ideal solution for adding fume hoods to existing labs
without the need for extensive equipment reconfiguration. Filters are available for both
xylene and formalin fumes.
User-Friendly Control Panel
The SC-36S-X/F models feature a LED control panel that enables the user to easily program
and control ON/OFF times and fan speeds for optimal efficiencies and fume management.
Top or Rear Mounted Exhaust Ports
For installations where external ventilation is available, the SC-36S-WOME-TV or -RV, SC-48SWOME-TV or -RV, SC-36WOME-TV or -RV and SC-48WOME-TV or -RV models open-front and
slope-front models are available in 6” exhaust ports that can be on top or rear mounted.
