Learn how to quickly create a prototype, get clinical
feedback, file a patent and make a business plan?
Here is a golden opportunity to meet the experts and
learn from other innovators. You may also qualify for
a BETiC Fellowship at VNIT Nagpur, IIT Bombay, or
COE Pune to take the idea into reality.
Eligibility: Working professionals – clinicians,
engineers and biomedical scientists, as well as final
year UG/PG students in any discipline are invited to
apply. Proven capability for innovation is essential;
prior exposure to medical field is desirable.
Interested participants need to mail their biodata
and portfolio of creative projects (single PDF file) by
19 August 2016. They will be interviewed on phone
for short-listing and invited to the course.
Fees:
Rs. 2500, which covers access to all sessions,
course material, basic kit, and working lunch. Only
invited participants need to pay the fees in advance
by a bank draft drawn in favor of ‘Director, VNIT’ to
confirm their seat. They have to make their own
arrangements for travel. Limited accommodation is
available in VNIT on first-come-first serve basis.

About BETiC, VNIT Nagpur:
The Biomedical Engineering and Technology
incubation Centre is multi-disciplinary multiinstitution collaboration involving IIT Bombay,
VNIT Nagpur, COE Pune, MGM Hospital and
other partners. In the last two years, their
teams developed over 20 innovative medical
devices (diagnostic, surgical and rehab), filed
their patents, and transferred few to industry.
The facility network includes 3D CAD, medical
modelling, plastics & electronics prototyping,
gait studies, testing and tissue engineering.
