On December 19. 2010, I and

were staying at the Century Pines Hotel. At 9:30 AM, I

That night,
, calculating our expenditures for the day, realized we were exactly RM300 short. We
recalculated our expenses and came up with me result. How had we "lost' RM300? We considered that someone
from the hotel had entered our room between 10:05-10:40 AM and opened our.sate, explaining why the safe failed to
work upon our return from breakfast.

On the morning of December 20, we spoke to the manager of the Century Pines Resort and he showed us security
camera footage. This, indeed, showed theengmeer entering our room at 10:06 AM after we'd left for breakfast. HE
stayed for 2 minutes. When the Century Pines manager questioned the engineer, the engineer said that he went into
ourroom at 10:06 to fix the shower. HOwever. we: maintained that we complained about the shower at 10:45 AM,
over 40 minutes later. How could the engineer have known about the shower complaint BEFORE we made it? When
we pointed this out to the manager, he looked over the security
complaint at reception at 10:45 AM.
THe manager requestioned the staff. Their stories now chang
received a call from our room between 8 and 9 AM -- a time w member said he remembered speaking to Hee Kyong about

When we asked the Indian manager of Century Pines to pr ~

entry was at 10:46 AM, at the time the engineer opened the
