 Missouri finished the 2010-11 campaign as one of
four teams nationally (Iowa State, Texas, Detroit)
to have five players averaging double digits in
scoring. All five return for MU this year.
 The Tigers bring back 89.5 percent of their scoring,
89.1 percent of their rebounding, 90.0 percent of
their assists and 92.1 percent of their steals from
last season.  Senior guard Marcus Denmon is the lone honoree
back from the 2011 All-Big 12 First Team. He
finished the season strong, scoring 19 points or
more in seven of his last nine outings.  The Tigers were second nationally in steals with
9.7 per game a year ago. Mizzou has led the Big 12
in the category four times in the last five seasons,
placing in the top five nationally each time.
 Sophomore guard Phil Pressey set a MU freshman
record with 117 assists while finishing one behind
the school’s freshman steals mark (61). Both totals
led all Big 12 freshmen in 2010-11.
