The company
Siru is an Italian lighting company, leader in the provision of
prestigious lighting solutions.
Siru creation dates back to 1989, thanks to Rudy Marinotto, who brought his experience and knowledge in techniques and craftsmanship arts. He led the company to
stand out for the high quality of the production, for the
wide variety of pure and brilliant colored glasses, and for
the rash attitude toward experiments in the employment
and processing of materials, for the possibility of a high
customized production and for the skills of a specialized
and highly qualified staff.
Siru has been experiencing a constant and quick growth
and it has been developing a widespread commercial net,
with several shops either in Italy and abroad.
During the years Siru became a reference point as an irreplaceable partner in the decoration and lighting of interior
and outdoor environments.

One of the peculiarities of Siru today, is the ability of melting
the needs, either operational and contextual, typical of a

“workshop of research in the field of applied arts” rather

The production process
Sand and minerals are our raw materials. We start from the fusion
of these elements in order to get the glass and the processing of
the metals to obtain the mold. Our products take shape from the
metal cage in stainless steel, in which the glass is blown.
The production of blown glass is carried on according to the ancient Murano glass techniques. The glass working cycle is long and
complex. It is made up by four different stages, (preparation of
mixture, melting, refining, cooling-off to reach the working temperature), at which point it is possible to proceed with the processing.
In order to obtain particular finishes, before the blowing, the glass
may be introduced in a mold that impresses the first finish. Afterwards, the glass is blown inside the steel cage where it shapes and
models without encountering the resistance of the mold
The peculiarity of the products Siru is the presence of the metal
cage, replacing the mold. The blown glass in the frame of steel, in
fact, swells and models itself to assume the desired shape.
Once this process is completed, the handiwork is introduced in a
temper, that allows it to get cool gradually, preventing therefore
the breakage, and ensures the glass a greater robustness.
Only when the glass has cooled you can proceed to subsequent
processes: cutting, grinding and drilling, depending on the needs.
The blown glass in the cage of steel is, thus, ready to be assembled with other components.
The strength of Siru is to have been able to maintain the techniques and the artistic tradition, combining them with a cuttingedge production. Siru in fact over the years has equipped its production line with the most innovative and technologically advanced, welding robots, three-dimensional bendings and polishing baths, making the product extremely reliable.

Prestige
Creativity and art for general contractors. Siru is pleased to present
also the new collection of chandeliers and lighting solutions specifically studied for hotel, restaurant and public spaces lighting. Ceiling
lamps, appliques, wall lamps, table lamps: items tare perfectly suitable also environments that require exclusive and prestigious products.
Outodoor
Our first aim of providing the best products, led us to create a new
collection designed for outdoor context. Moreover, thanks to a modification (IP44), almost all of our lanterns can fit the exteriors without damages, through the stainless steel frame.
Customization
All our items con be customized in dimensions, colors, and components, according to our costumers requests.

The future
The main objective is to make Siru’s products more and
more versatile and able to satisfy emerging needs of the
markets. In recent years, a special regard has been placed
on general contract sector. Siru intends to develop services
and expertise concerning this field, providing technical
support to designers.
The strategy of Siru for the next years concerns mainly:
Consolidating the presence of Siru in the medium
and contract market (target);
Widening the offer by launching new kind of items
and home accessories;
Reinforcing the commercial network in Italy and
abroad, where Siru sales network may still be weak;
Further increase in R&D activities and the development of new technologies;
Empowering of the production capacity.
In the last few years the company heavily invested in
branding and communication. Next future strategy will be
oriented to put more emphasis on the quality of the materials being used and innovation in the production process,
that features the production cycle at Siru.

Trade shows
Siru exhibits and is ambassador of Made in Italy since many years in the most prestigious
trade shows on an international level. Siru has been able to successfully compete in contexts
that challenged us and made us improve.

The commitment
Siru also means social commitments. Contributing to sport and cultural initiatives and to the
valorisation of our territory goes along with the
values that guides our work.
Siru sponsored the Basketball team Bears of
Venice Mestre and the crews of Broder Team in
the Italian championship of endurance powerboat, both of which have achieved remarkable
results in their categories. Siru also supports the
local volleyball team of Venice Lido with the
firm belief that a company has the duty to contribute to the social development of the territory
where it operates. Furthermore Siru is also
