country, the shoot dates and venues are
limited. However, we still managed to arrange 100
plus shoots… so there are many weekends and
mid-week shoots to choose from. New venues will be
sent to members via our eNewsletter.
Please reduce the bag limits this season to 5 upland
birds & 5 Waterfowl per gun per day.

Elements
The Long Range Shooting Club
(LRSC) is a sister club of SA
Wingshooters.
Come and join us at our “home”
range venue on a farm just 18km
from Broederstroom, where we host
long range shoots and training. Our
range is permanently set up and the
distances range from 470 metres to
1530 metres, and includes a 2,2km
range! The range is currently availbale
3 days a week – Tuesdays, Thursdays
and Saturdays until 12 noon.
This range/farm is not a public
range and is available on invitation
and for members of the LRSC only.

Events hosted for members during the
year will be sent out on email.
Long range shooting is challenging but fun. There is also an ‘open’ division, so you can compete with your
hunting rifle, even though it is not
the preferred setup for long distance
shooting.

The five and eight day
courses cover similar subject
matter. The instructional
time spent on course content
is greater on the eight-day
option and more time is allocated to practical exercises.
The natural and logical flow of
the course material builds the
learners and leads them into
practical exercises. Learners are
assessed once the required material has been covered both
on a theoretical and practical
level.
