RVCA advocateであるAaron RoseやJosh Harmony、Alex Knostが得意とする南国テイストのスタイリングがテーマとなった当コレクションは、懐かしさと新鮮さが相まった
南の島の情緒を写し出し、新しい夏の着こなしを提案する。

［太陽のイリュージョン］
RVCA advocateのFord ArchboldやAlex Knostの気ままな旅の日々を反映した今回のコレクションは、
ヴィンテージ風の洗い加工やにじみ染めをベースに用いて、着ている人の心
を熱帯地へと導いてくれる。

［波乱の航海］
都会の喧騒や夜のスケートセッションに着想を得たこのコレクションは、Fairfaxの一角で見られる夏の佇まいをPow Wow Hawaiiの広々とした路地へとリンクさせる。

RVCA is the brainchild of company Founder and Creative Director, PM Tenore. Transcending the boundaries of traditional action
sports apparel, RVCA is a design–driven lifestyle brand free from passing trends. Appearing as a natural on the shelves of
boutiques as on those of a local skate shop, RVCA is brought together by a group of like–minded individuals from various
subcultures, a collaboration of sorts, a lifestyle within itself.
PM Tenore’s intention from the very beginning has been to create a platform for RVCA which combines art, music, fashion and
a modern lifestyle in an original way. At the forefront of this vision has been RVCA’s Artist Network Program (ANP) – a venture
established to showcase the talents of accomplished as well as unknown artists who inspire our generation and push the
boundaries of creative excellence.
Established to promote the genuine integrity of RVCA’s subcultures while simultaneously giving back to the community, RVCA in
essence is redefining the way the market views art and fashion as represented through the balance of opposites and how they
coexist: water, oil; air, land; destruction, industrialization; art, science; foreign, domestic; order, anarchy; past, present.
For RVCA, it is about today, tomorrow and life as the big picture. It is about inspiring our generation, providing something of
substance and culture and above all doing it with integrity and as a united family, a close knit community.
クリエイティブディレクターでもあるPM Tenoreによって創立されたRVCAは、
スポーツアパレルブランドの典型的なイメージを覆しながら、
流行に左右されず、
新しい発想に基づい
たライフスタイルを提供するブランドである。
小さなスケートショップはもちろんのこと、
高級デパートの店頭に並んでいても違和感のないRVCAのアイテムは、
異なる文化を持ちなが
らも近い価値観を共有する人々、
コラボレーション的な要素、
そして独自のライフスタイルによって作り出されている。
アート、
音楽、
ファッションそしてライフスタイル。
これらを新しい方法で組み合わせるためにRVCAは生まれた。
その代表となるのがArtist Network Program
（ANP）
である。
ANPは
有名・無名にかかわらず、
私たち世代に影響を与え、
芸術活動の魅力を更に高めていくアーティストを、
より多くの人に認知してもらうことを目的としている。
地域社会に大きく報いる一方で、
オリジナルの価値観を育てるために生まれたRVCAは、
同時にアート、
ファッションに対する世間の観点を再定義する必要があると考えている。
水と油、
大気と大地、
破壊と創造、
芸術と科学、
内部と外部、
秩序と混乱、過去と未来。
こういった相反するもののバランス、
そしてそれらがいかにして共存しているかを象徴すること
で、RVCAは自らの役割を果たしている。
RVCAとは今日と明日、
そして人生という大局的に見た未来のことである。
そして自分たちの世代に刺激を与え、
共有できる価値観や意味のあるものを提供すること、

The Artist Network Program（以下ANP）
は、有名、無名に関わらず、型破りな想像力を持ち、意味のある作品を生み出すことで私達の世代に刺激を与えるようなアーティスを紹介するためのプロジェクトである。RVCAにとって、
アーティストとは絵をかいたり、曲をつくったりする人達のことだけではない。斬新で芸術的な視点によって人生そのものや、感情、魂を表現する人々もまた、
アーティストであると私達は考えている。RVCAとANPは、
アーティスト達が
のびのびと創作活動を広げられる場所を提供することで、
彼らを支えることができればという意図の下に成り立っている。

Josh Harmony lives in Long Beach California with his wife and two kids. Josh’s
first video part was in Toy Machine skateboards video of the year ‘Good and
Evil’ where he showed the skate world his ability to take on big rails with the
best of them. His solid fast and fearless approach to handrail skating is about
as exciting as skateboarding get’s but he’s also one who appreciate’s a unique
music; Josh began playing music himself and has since taught himself how to
play multiple instruments. He has released multiple albums and created music

アーティストとして初めてその名を広めたのは、彼

幼くして養子に出されたアンセルは南カリフォルニアのサーファー集団によって育てられる。彼らは
1970年代のサーフシーンにおける有力者で、
アンセルにとってサーフィンは⽣活の一部となり同じ
くして⼈生の師となる。それは彼が挑戦することや、恐れを克服することの助けとなり支えとなり、そ
れは更にアンセルをアートの世界へと導くきっかけともなる。
アートとの出会いは、その後もアンセル
にとっての⾃己表現と⾃己探求への⼤切な⼿法となる。最もアンセルの名前を世に知らしめたのは
DOG TOWNのデザインである。

ハワイ在住の創立者ジャスパー・ウォン、カメア・ハーダー、ティファニー・タナカの三人により2011年からスタートし
たHonolulu・KAKA‘AKO〈カカアコ〉エリア（倉庫街）で行われているストリートアートのイベントです。
世界中から集められた著名アーティストが巨大壁画を1週間かけて制作します。
ハワイ・台湾・テキサス・ロングビーチを経て5か所目の開催地が日本。
2015年は日本開催後、台湾での開催を控えており、アジアツアー初年度としても重要な年度となっています。
上記の開催地に加え、ドイツ・南アフリカ・中国・シンガポール・ニュージーランド・カナダ・ジャマイカ・アメリカ（グアム・
ワシントンDC）が今後の候補予定地として挙げられ、ストリートアートの分野では世界で最も勢いのあるアートフェ
スティバルのひとつです。
主に、アーティスト支援活動（リーガルウォールの開拓やビジネスサポート）と、完成したアートを通して街を形成する
活動を行い、アートシーンと地域経済の活性化を目指しています。

Founder and President
RVCA is the brainchild of company Founder and Creative Director, PM Tenore. Transcending the boundaries of traditional action
sports apparel, RVCA is a design–driven lifestyle brand free from passing trends. Appearing as a natural on the shelves of
boutiques as on those of a local skate shop, RVCA is brought together by a group of like–minded individuals from various
subcultures, a collaboration of sorts, a lifestyle within itself.
PM Tenore’s intention from the very beginning has been to create a platform for RVCA which combines art, music, fashion and
a modern lifestyle in an original way. At the forefront of this vision has been RVCA’s Artist Network Program (ANP) – a venture
established to showcase the talents of accomplished as well as unknown artists who inspire our generation and push the
boundaries of creative excellence.
Established to promote the genuine integrity of RVCA’s subcultures while simultaneously giving back to the community, RVCA in
essence is redefining the way the market views art and fashion as represented through the balance of opposites and how they
coexist: water, oil; air, land; destruction, industrialization; art, science; foreign, domestic; order, anarchy; past, present.
For RVCA, it is about today, tomorrow and life as the big picture. It is about inspiring our generation, providing something of
substance and culture and above all doing it with integrity and as a united family, a close knit community.

The Artist Network Program（以下ANP）
は、有名、無名に関わらず、型破りな想像力を持ち、意味のある作品を生み出すことで私達の世代に刺激を与えるようなアーティスを紹介するためのプロジェクトである。RVCAにとって、
アーティストとは絵をかいたり、曲をつくったりする人達のことだけではない。斬新で芸術的な視点によって人生そのものや、感情、魂を表現する人々もまた、
アーティストであると私達は考えている。RVCAとANPは、
アーティスト達が
のびのびと創作活動を広げられる場所を提供することで、
彼らを支えることができればという意図の下に成り立っている。
2016年のSUMMERコレクションでは、
従来のANPアーティストに加え、
新鋭メンバーも作品を提供してくれた。

各ページをご覧いただきたい。
