An independent, coeducational, college
preparatory, Catholic secondary school,
St. Vincent Pallotti High School offers
young men and women the best of both
worlds. We are large enough to boast a
wide-ranging curriculum, cutting edge
technology, and a diverse selection
of extracurricular activities. We are
also small enough that each student
is able to be treated as an individual,
possessing unique talents and abilities.
We offer spiritually enriching retreats
and service opportunities, and 17
interscholastic sports teams. Pallotti
is a place where young people can
receive the nurturing they need and the
freedom to spread their wings.
A Unique
Community

St. Vincent Pallotti High School
To appreciate the Catholic faith and
traditions and to transmit them to
students.
To create a Christian Community,
where all people can become all that
God intends them to be.
To preserve the commitment
to intellectual values, academic
excellence, and physical well-being;
and to assist each person in developing
whatever gifts or talents he or she may
possess.
To encourage members of the school
community to work for justice and
peace in imitation of Christ.
To affirm the dignity and self-worth of
the students, faculty, and staff, so as
to create a learning environment that
promotes quality relationships among
all members.

Our Mission

St. Vincent Pallotti High School
“Pallotti High School is a community in which our
students come from a wide range of backgrounds
with a variety of interests and talents. Our faculty and
administration welcome these differences, encourage
these various interests and passionately promote the
development of each of our students’ God-given talents.”
Jeff Palumbo, President/Principal

It is through Pallotti’s challenging and
diverse curriculum that students develop
into independent, self-motivated, socially
conscious young adults who are prepared
to enter college as critical thinkers. Our
faculty captivate students and impart to
them a thirst for knowledge, accountability,
and scholarship.
Following in the footsteps of our patron, St.
Vincent, Pallotti High School strives to meet
the needs of each student and compels
them to work to reach their fullest potential.
Through extensive course offerings at
various levels — College Preparatory,
Honors, Advanced Placement (AP), and the
Learning Center — students are challenged
to excel at the highest levels possible.
Pallotti has also been a leader in integrating
technology into the classroom. Our IT
Department has introduced many cutting
edge initiatives (e.g. a 1:1 student laptop
program) which have greatly enhanced the
educational experience of our students.
Pallotti equips each student with the
tools necessary to continue to grow
after graduation — the tools to pursue
higher education and to continue to value
knowledge and to better serve God and the
world around them.

“St. Vincent Pallotti is not just another high school, it
is a close family, and I truly believe that I came into this
family as a young boy, but with the help of Pallotti I have
developed into a thoughtful, considerate, well-educated
young man.”
Fiyin Makinde, Class of 2013

Committed to educating the whole person
and developing well-rounded individuals,
Pallotti offers a wide variety of extra
curricular enrichment activities to our
students. We strongly encourage all
students to become active in the school
community by participating in one or more
activities.
It is our belief that through the exploration
of extracurricular activities including the
visual and performing arts, students will
grow in character and depth of thinking.
They can, through these activities, become
better persons, able to contribute to their
community in a variety of enriching ways.
We encourage each Pallotti student to
take the initiative to actively participate and
strive towards personal accomplishment.

Participation in one of our 17 interscholastic
sports teams offers the student athletes at
Pallotti not only the chance to develop their
physical wellbeing but also the opportunity to
learn invaluable life lessons.
The men participate in the MIAA (Maryland
Interscholastic Athletic Association) and the
women participate in the IAAM (Interscholastic
Athletic Association of Maryland).
In keeping with Pallotti’s mission statement,
the athletic program provides students
with core values and helps them strive to
develop their God-given abilities. It is through
athletics that they learn to develop teamwork,
sportsmanship, and self-esteem. Our athletic
teams stress excellence in the classroom as
well as on the field of play.

“I love the sense of community at Pallotti...you are
really made to feel at home and welcomed. What I like
most, though, is how much individual attention students
receive.”

Each year the St. Vincent Pallotti High
School Admissions Committee seeks to
enroll a diverse group of talented, highly
motivated students who wish to succeed
in a challenging college preparatory
program, while contributing to the spirit
and community of the school. Testing
and interviewing play critical roles in the
admissions process.
The committee gives great consideration
to educational performance, teacher
recommendations, personal characteristics,
and special talents or circumstances which
warrant the admission of students who
are likely to contribute to the vitality of the
Pallotti community.
Pallotti High School encourages and
welcomes applications without regard to
race, color, religion, or national origin,
and does not discriminate in its education
policies, financial aid programs, or other
school-administered extracurricular
activities.
Students are encouraged to apply online at
