1. $1 Non-buildable lots –– Land Bank lots with less than
40-ft. frontages are offered to adjacent property owners
at a cost of only $1 (plus recording costs.)
2. $100 Buildable lots –– Land Bank residential lots are sold
by the City of Cleveland for $100 (plus recording costs)
for new home construction.
3. Land Banking for future development –– When a number
of City-owned lots and tax delinquent properties in the
foreclosure process are located in close proximity,
the City will bank lots until the foreclosed lots come into
the Land Bank. The lots are then consolidated to allow for
new development.
