THE OPPORTUNITY AHEAD
Economic development is critically important to the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians as the Tribe
continues to establish a vibrant and viable future for its people for generations to come.
Moreover, by investing in diverse and strategic economic ventures both on and off the Agua Caliente
Reservation, the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has forged a long-standing history as an economic
engine for the Coachella Valley. Any development activity is subject to the planning policies of the
Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. The Tribe has entered into a land-use agreement with the City of
Palm Springs (that includes this land area) which in essence extends the Zoning Ordinance of Palm Springs
to Tribal lands.
The Tribe wishes to pursue a relationship with a high quality, experienced development entity to undertake
specific project opportunities.
