Legs are approx. 1” long and the long tails are approx. 4” long. But can be trimmed
to a shorter length if desired. Most of the patterns have 3 or 4 colors. The skirts can be

Use the Lunker
Skirt Tool and
Lunker Collars
to Make Lunker
Skirts.
Large skirt layers for making large skirts for big fish. These
layers are 11” long which is twice as long as a regular skirt
layer. The Lunker layers have 9 strands. Each strand is .050”
wide. Using the Lunker skirt tool you can easily make large
lunker skirts with up to 72 strands.

Ink Stripes have been added to the round strand rubber lure material. Continuous rubber strip
approx. 1” wide that separates into 40 strands when stretched and cut. Intensity of ink stripes
may vary some, but makes great looking skirts. With the rubber lure material you can make
skirts about any length you want and with any number of strands.

Lunker Skirt

SKIRT MAKING KITS
This skirt tool is specially made to be used for making
large skirts with the Lunker skirt layers and the Lunker
collars. Use only with the Lunker collars. The tool
consists of a hollow metal barrell and a cone with pull
wire attached for loading the Lunker collars and pulling
the Lunker layers through the hollow barrell. The metal
barrell on the tool is 5-1/2” long, overall length is 6-1/4”
and the I.D. is 0.40”. You can pull up to 8 Lunker skirt
layers through the tool to make a 72 strand skirt. By
putting the collar on the layers in different positions
you can make skirts of different lengths. Complete
instructions for using the tool are on our web site.

LURE MATERIAL
Multi-Strand Rubber comes in long
strips approximately 1” wide. These
wide strips have been pre-slit into many
strands which are released when the
rubber is stretched and cut. Multi-Strand
Rubber makes excellent spinner baits,
jigs and other lures. It is flexible and durable. Any number
of color combinations can be tied into a lure. Round Strans
Rubber Material produces a skirt with more built in action
and vibration because of the round cross section of the
strands. This material separates very easily and clearly. It
is very consistent. The colors are usually bright. Strips are
approx. 40 strands.

METALLIC FOIL SKIRT LAYERS
Metallic foil silicone layers make lure skirts with a bright metallic flash. The erratic spots
are bright reflective colors like chrome. Our pictures don’t ever come close to showing the
actual appearance of these layers. One layer in a skirt will add lots of bright colored flash
to the skirt.

FISH SCALE SKIRT LAYERS
A special printing process is used to print a Black Fishscale pattern onto
Silicone Skirt Layers. These printed layers add a very unique and different
look to lure skirts. Entire skirts may be made from printed layers, but the best
application appears to be to use 5 to 15 printed strands as an accent in the skirt

HALF WIRE SILICONE SKIRT LAYERS
NATURES EDGE SKIRT LAYERS
Our Barb Wire Skirt Layers are very popular, but we have had lots of requests for
pattern layers with less black and more of the primary color exposed on them. We made
a new template with every other black bar removed and this is our half wire layers. You
can make some great skirts with these layers with half the black in them.
A series of silicone skirt layer colors specially formulated to have a more realistic, natural
look. The colors are nature tones with a mottled pattern formulated into the silicone. These
are especially good for jig skirts in clear water situations.

Ripple Silicone Skirt Layers are the same as Regular Silicone Skirt Layers except that
they have a series of ridges on one side that gives a different look and reflection in the
water and produces a ripple like action in the water. Layers are 5-1/2” long and have 20

PRODUCTION SKIRT ASSEMBLY TOOL
This skirt assembly tool is the same tool used by
manufacturers to produce thousands of skirts a day.
It is designed to be clamped to a bench top (clamp
is not included). Skirt assembly procedure is: (1)
Load skirt collars (1 to 20) onto the tube body by
pushing the collars down over the loading point
and onto the tube body. (2) Remove the loading
point and use the wire hook attached to the loading
point to pull the selected skirt layers up through
the tube and half way out of the top of the tube.
(3) Slide 1 collar off the tube body and onto the
layers. Remove the layers from the tube, trim the
ends off the layers and the skirt is complete. Note:
A lubricant such as vaseline makes it easier to load
and un-load the collars.

SKIRT UMBRELLAS
Skirt Umbrellas are a small flexible plastic form that
will flair the strands on Spinner Bait and Jig Skirts to
improve the action of the skirt. The skirt is placed onto
the stem of the umbrella with the skirt collar into the
necked down part of the umbrella. Any excess stem
on the Umbrella is trimmed off and it is ready to place
onto the lure body, stem end first. The cone part of the
Umbrella will now flair the strands of the skirt.
Skirt Umbrellas may also be used to Treble Hook
Attractor Tails for Lures.
Bench Mount Skirt Making Tool is designed for production skirt making. Base tool
is molded plastic. Tool has an aluminum tube with a removable nose for loading skirt
collars onto tube slide mounted hook for pulling skirt layers through tube. There is an
adjustable stop for the sliding hook mount so that you can make the collar location on
the skirt the same each time. Overall length 11-1/4” not including tube. 4 bolt holes for

Umbrella Treble Hook
The Pro Skirt Tool is a cam operated skirt collar expander for
producing fishing lure skirts. All metal construction. The base
and posts are anodized aluminum . The Pro Skirt Tool is a stand
alone unit that does not need to be clamped down or attached to
a bench or table. The jaws are adjustable with allen set screws.

SKIRT UMBRELLA TOOL
Handy little tool for putting skirts onto umbrellas. With the point in the shaft slide the skirt
onto the shaft. A lubricant such
as vaseline will make this easier.
Remove the point from the shaft,
place the umbrella stem into the
shaft and slide the skirt onto the
stem of the umbrella. Trim the
stem and it’s ready to place on the lure. Be sure and place skirt onto lure with the stem end
next to the lure body. Umbrellas work best when the skirt collar is in the middle of the skirt.
