Footsloggers Climbing Tower
Outdoor climbing wall, onsite at our location in downtown
Boone, North Carolina! Visit the tower for a 1 or 2-hour course,
or your choice of three climbs with a trained staff member
belaying. Call ahead to schedule a group program, birthday
party, staff event, or “Tower-to-Rock ” trip. Fun for families!
Rock Climbing & Rappelling
Half-day or full-day guided rock climbing and rappelling
trips in the North Carolina Mountains and Piedmont region.
Trips range from instructional to purely recreational for
all ages and skill levels! For Scouts, Rock Dimensions offers
a Climbing Merit Badge program, meeting all of the
guidelines for BSA Climb On Safely. No experience necessary!
Traditional Multi-pitch Climbing
Picture yourself on the side of a rock face, 200 or more feet off
the ground, surrounded by expansive views with more rock above
you! North Carolina has some of the finest rock for traditional multipitch climbing, from beautifully exposed slabs and domes
to the rugged rock of Linville Gorge. Shiprock and Table Rock offer
classically aesthetic routes for beginners to experienced climbers.
Guided Caving
Natural limestone caves offer a beautiful introduction to
the life and landscape of the subterranean world. These
undeveloped, wild caves are full of classic formations, suitable
for beginners, groups, and those with the curiosity to explore
some smaller passages. Here is your opportunity to be an
explorer and actually experience true darkness!
Summer Day Camps
Rock climbing and other outdoor adventure activities for kids
and teens! Flexible scheduling and individualized instruction
cater to participants and families, with small instructor-to-camper
ratios. A fun and memorable camp experience for youth with a
hunger for climbing, adventure, or just being in the outdoors!

a Special Use Permit for guiding
in Pisgah National Forest and a
Commercial Use Permit for guiding in
areas of the Blue Ridge Parkway, NPS.
Climbing Guides are certified through the Professional Climbing Instructors Association (PCIA).

Challenge Course & Zip Line
Set your goals, choose your challenges, and boost your
confidence all within the context of a fun and exciting day on
the ropes! Navigate your way through 20 different elements that
become increasingly more difficult the higher you climb in the
course, culminating in an exhilarating ride down the Zip Line
or a breathtaking pendulum drop off the Giant Swing!
