Community Service/Fundraising/General
Don’t forget to bring your used coats to the December meeting. SGMP members
will be distributed to needy people in the Baton Rouge area through the COATS
FOR KIDS organization.
There will also be another Holiday Gift Raffle to help raise money for the chapter,
so bring extra money to bid and join in the fun.
It was so much fun last year, we are doing it again—the Ornament Exchange. Please
bring an ornament with a value of $5.00 or less to exchange if you are interested in
participating.
Louisiana’s SGMP Chapter is also kicking off our new Government Meeting Specialist
Program in January. We will have the information for you at the December meeting.
We are still looking for new members. Please invite any government meeting planners that you think would benefit from membership in SGMP. December’s social
and training is the perfect time to spotlight what we have to offer. First time government planner attendees are complimentary—just list them as your guests on
the registration form.
