ELMHURST UPDATE
Fall/Winter 2015
works in progress
Schenley Place (left), Elmhurst’s Oakland project which began construction in 2014, is
preparing for completion in early January. Two tenants have signed leases for over a third
of the building. The first is a large tech company, which plans to take a large portion of the
first floor and a portion of the second. The second tenant is the University of Pittsburgh,
whose campus is a quick walk from this Class A office building.
Elmhurst has added new office and flex space to its McClaren Woods Business Park.
Building 4000 (top right) should reach completion in the spring. McClaren Woods offers a
rustic setting—including wooded areas and walking trails—within the convenient location
of Findlay Township, just three miles from Pittsburgh International Airport.
Finally, this fall Elmhurst finished the construction of Airside Business Park Building 300
(bottom right). Located in Moon Township at the site of the former Pittsburgh International
Airport Terminal, this park offers numerous amenities, including an attractive courtyard,
clock tower, fountain, sidewalks and an on-site deli which provides breakfast, lunch and
catering services. Stucki, an engineering, design and manufacturing firm, has already
signed a lease for a large portion of the building.
disaster recovery plan
Earlier this year, Elmhurst worked with Sungard Availabity
Services to create a disaster recovery plan. This plan allows
Elmhurst to stay in business in the event of an unforeseen
catastrophe, ensuring continued service to our tenants.
