Welcome to the Bragg Creek Community Centre, Our state of the art
facility, located in picturesque Bragg Creek. Only 30 minutes from
Calgary, our Centre is second to none. It offers a wonderful venue for
Weddings. You will enjoy a relaxed style and ambiance that only the
Bragg Creek Community Centre can offer.
Located in heart of Bragg Creek, It is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky
Mountains, on the edge of Kananaskis Country. A mixture of rolling hills,
jagged peaks and crystal clear streams surround the community and
provide an amazing playground for indoor and outdoor recreation. The
Bragg Creek Community Centre is at the centre of all this natural beauty.
Our magnificent foyer welcomes you as you enter out facility.
Surrounded by glass windows and complimented with cedar beams
and stone flooring, our foyer offers a tranquil setting.
Upon entering the Auditorium you are greeted by 30ft ceilings and
beautiful maple hardwood floor. This room is easily transformed into an
intimate reception hall for a wedding.

Rental Rates 2013
Wedding & Banquets
Base price for all banquets is $1500.00
($1000 for Auditorium day rate + $500 Kitchen day Rate)
$750 Non Refundable Deposit to hold the date
A Damage Deposit of $1000 required 7 business days prior
to event Failure to provide this deposit will result in cancellation
of the event. The damage deposit may be withheld in full or in
part, if in the opinion of the BCCA, damages or other costs are
incurred which were not part of the rental agreement. The
Centre will be inspected before and after the event. As long as
no damage, no excess cleaning services required the damage
deposit amount will be returned to the Rentee.
Reception Information
Access to the facility is at 8:00am on the day of your event .
The Rental of the Centre does not entitle the renter to use or enter premises
at any time other than the specific hours for which the Centre is rented
unless prior arrangements have been made with the BCCA. Such access
maybe subject to additional rental charge
All decorations must receive prior approval
Candles, confetti, bird seed, rice and rose petals ate NOT permitted
No bolts, nails, tacks, screws, bits, pins or other like objects shall be
driven into any part of the centre.
The renter acknowledges that the BCCA will not be held responsible
for decorations of the centre. The BCCA will set tables and chairs.
Fabric used for the event must follow Alberta Fire Code regulations.
On the day of the event D.J setup, caterer and wedding cake must be
completed between 2& 4pm
ALL DECORATIONS MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE
EVENT
Please note when providing your own linens that tablecloths are required
for the banquet tables, buffet, gift table, guestbook tables and registry.
Reception Information
Bar Service is provided by the BCCA at $395 which includes two
bartender , bar and all equipment for 10 hours . For functions over a 160
people additional bartender will be hired at $15/hr per 80/people -AGLC
regulations

SPECIAL EVENT LIQUOR LICENSE AND LIQUOR LIABILITY INSURANCE

Clients are permitted to provide their own alcohol. The use of
homemade wine, beer, spirits is NOT permitted
Liquor delivery to the Bragg Creek Community Centre must be
arranged with Facility Staff during business hours 9am to 4pm. The
client is responsible for the removal of all items at the end of the
rental.
The Client will provide their own Liquor Ticket sellers whom must
have a copy of their ProServe on the night of event
Last Call 12:00am
Bar Closes 12:30am
Event Ends 1:00am
Rental is complete at 1:00Am, all guests and personal items must be
removed from the facility
Guest Amenity Fee
In addition to the room rental a Guest Amenity Fee $ 8.00 per person will
be charged. The following items are included in this fee

Special Event Details
Responsible Alcohol Management
The renter shall obtain, at his or her cost, a special permit from Alberta
Gaming and Liquor for consumption of alcoholic beverages where
required and such permit shall be in force at the time of the booking and
displayed. A copy of the license must be provided to the BCCA no later
than 5 working days prior to the event. All liquor must be purchased from
the same location that the liquor license was obtained along with the
receipt listing the liquor purchased. Any liquor that is not on the receipt will
not be served.
Your damage deposit will be forfeited and your event will be closed down
should you be in violation Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission
regulations.
Liquor Liability
Liquor Liability Insurance is mandatory for all events serving alcohol
A $2 Million dollar PARTY ALCOHOL LIABILITY policy with the Bragg
Creek Community Centre named as additionally insured must be provide.
This insurance can be purchased through your own insurer or on-line at
www.palcanada.com. Proof of Insurance must be provided to the Bragg
Creek Community Centre two weeks prior to event.
Liquor License can be purchased at most liquor stores. This license must
be on display during event. Photocopies if alcohol purchased receipts
must be present.
Please ensure that the bar service time is within the times noted on both
the license & insurance.

The renter is responsible for use, care and cleaning of the commercial kitchen by his
or her caterer. Excessive cleaning charges will apply. The renter or caterer is
responsible for removal of garbage from the kitchen.
