Edge® Ultra Series Strobe Lightbars
Edge Ultra starts with modular architecture "snap-in/lock-in" components, and an internal wiring harness that lets you
select the exact strobe, LED and halogen warning configuration you require. Easily upgradeable. For example, buy a
four-strobe version today; add up to eight more strobe modules or other options at a later date.

All Ultra lightbars meet Class I SAE requirements and California Title XIII requirements.
Ultra LC is available in four, six, eight, ten or twelve strobe models.
Internal electronics allows for twenty-two gauge external wiring for all switching functions.
Low “LC” Current operation uses a small diameter external cable harness for easier installation and
operation with standard or low current switch controls or micro switches.
Secondary warning lamp modules available are all strobe, all halogen, all LED; combination: strobe
over halogen, strobe over LED, halogen over halogen, LED over LED, and Brake/Tail/Turn.

Edge 4500 Plus Series
An all new flush mounted ligh bar design, the 4500 Series lightbar that is only 4-3/16” high and 5-1/4” deep. The 4500
Series is available in a variety of lighting combinations and configurations, featuring the 700 series halogen, strobe, and 5mm
LED lightheads used as primary lighting, and a rotating halogen assembly that features a dual ball bearing design (which
carries a 3 year warranty), giving you a wide variety of lighting applications to meet your lighting needs.
The all new 4500 Series features an all LED configuration, for front and rear applications, featuring the Linear Super-LED
lightheads to meet the front and rear requirements of KKK-1822F specifications. Some 4500 models feature LED ICC
clearance lights that cover front, rear and side marker light requirements set by SAE J592 and J2042. The rear center
clearance light features a third high mount brake light option standard to meet SAE J1957. Internal design features snap-in
brackets, individual front load lenses that make servicing the light array a breeze. Slide bolt mounting allows installation and

Classic Edge proportions with straightforward, modular construction.
Models include 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 strobe lightheads plus up to ten secondary warning, halogen or LED modules.
Optional, built-in Traffic Advisor™ in strobe, LED or halogen versions.
Modular design. Lamp modules and lenses are of equal size and can be placed anywhere in the lightbar.
End caps with clear lenses and color inner filters allow individual color selection of front and rear strobes.
Color filters are also available for duplex light modules.
Available with optional Scan-Lock™ flash pattern control (using an external connection) that lets you
toggle through ten strobe, halogen and LED flash patterns and lock in the pattern you select. Selected
pattern is stored in non-volatile memory until you decide to change. Internal Scan-Lock feature is standard.
Scan-Lock allows each power supply and flasher board to be programmed in a different flash pattern.
Select up to 3 power supplies (12 strobes max.) and 2 flasher boards per lightbar (8 halogen flashers).
Each flasher runs up to 4 lightheads and includes steady-burn override for one pair of lights.
All non-duplex options are available in kit form, field-upgradeable by distributor, installer or user.
Passenger side, 15’ external cable harness, standard on 9M Low “LC” Current lightbars, includes two
(8 gauge) power cables to the battery, and sixteen low power (22 gauge) function wires for connection
to the customer supplied switch control. These low power function wires need less than 1/2 amp to operate,
allow for simple operational independence of each lightbar control function, and make wiring a snap!

Responder ® Cadet ™ Series
Compact and lightweight, the Cadet Series fits most vehicles' dash and deck area.
Dual speed Cadet Series operates at 110 and 180 flashes per minute (FPM) via a
selection push-button located in the base. The field replaceable halogen lamp is
pre-focused in a parabolic reflector for a brighter warning signal than many dashlights equipped with higher wattage lamps. All models include 50# pull magnets*,
8' straight power cord with cigar plug and black 1/2 dome shield. Polycarbonate
dome is available in all five safety colors, and split dome. Options include On/Off
base mounted switch, 1/2 color dome shield and coiled cord. Cadet meets and
exceeds all SAE and California Title XIII requirements.

RB6 / RB6T Rota-Beam™ Series
Single or dual reflector, halogen rotating beacon. Tall, with a wide profile, this midsized beacon, is sturdy and lightweight with a straightforward design that’s easy to
install and service. Double roller ball bearing design provides superior performance with less friction and minimal noise. Redesigned parabolic reflector
increases light intensities with a greater optic spread. Meets and exceed SAE,
California Title XIII requirements for emergency vehicles. When used in pairs,
red RB6T meets NFPA Photometric requirements for Zone C, Upper, installations.

Designed for use in NFPA 1901 Specification lighting packages, the B6 Series
combines 360° warning and directional lighting in a single fixture. The B6T has
several combinations available, a rotating halogen beacon with a lower flashing
halogen, linear strobe, LED, scenelight, brake/tail/turn indicator. The new SuperLED B6LED has a 360° Super-LED beacon upper level and 700 Series Linear-LED®
directional lighthead lower level. LED design offers extremely low amp draw while
maintaining superior light output. Super-LED beacon and 700 Series Linear-LED
have built-in flashers providing multiple flash patterns, plus cruise light mode on
LED beacon. Standard finish is polished aluminum, mounting is flat/permanent.
The halogen rotating beacon features double roller ball bearing design, redesigned
parabolic reflector. Both the beacon and the directional 700 Series halogen lightheads use snap-in 60 watt halogen lamps. The linear strobe, 700 Series with nonfluted lens produces an exceptional wide angle light pattern. (Strobe lighthead
requires a Whelen remote strobe power supply, purchased separately) Halogen
flashing has a built-in electronic flasher. When used in pairs, B6 Series meets

waterproof design make the Dominator the versatile answer to all your
secondary warning and signalling needs. Flashing models are available in
2, 4, 6, and 8 light array with seven flash patterns and a steady-on mode.
These may be synchronized to each other or to other Whelen
synchronizing products. The Traffic Advisor models are
available in 6 and 8 lamp arrays and a six lamp array with

The Smart Arrow Messenger displays text and symbols on a high intensity LED display which is built
into Edge and Edge+Plus lightbars. Messages can be presented in a variety of formats (fixed, flashing
or scrolling), predetermined with storage of up to 128 messages. Pre-programmed EMS/Fire library is
available. The solid-state LEDs will stand up to road shock and vibration and are rated for 100,000 hours
of operation. Smart Arrow Messenger is easy to use by scrolling through messages on the compact
controller. Non-volatile memory assures that programming will not be lost in the event of a power failure
