Perkongsian Bersama User ID Untuk Penggunaan COMCAS
(Commonwealth Cases) Di Mahkamah
Oengan hormatnya saya memaklumkan bahawa susulan dari Pelancaran
Penggunaan LEXIS I COMCAS di Mahkamah oleh Y.A.A. Ketua Hakim Negara
pada 3 Ogos 2001 , sebagai permulaan sebanyak 18 User 10 bagi penggunaan
COMCAS (Commonwealth Cases) akan dikongsi bersama antara semua Y.A.
Hakim di Semenanjung Malaysia. Jabatan ini membelanjakan sebanyak
RM90,000.00 setahun untuk pembayaran langganan COMCAS dan LEXIS di
Mahkamah.

Sehubungan dengan perkara ini , Y.A. kini boleh mula menggunakan
COMCAS dengan memasuki Internet serta website COMCAS di
http://client.lexisnexis.eom .sg/fedcourt-my dan memasukkan Username dan
Password seperti berikut:

Untuk makluman Y.A. , pada satu-satu masa 18 orang Hakim akan dapat
menggunakan COMCAS secara serentak apabila menjalankan penyelidikan.
Bilangan User 10 akan dipertingkatkan lagi apabila didapati 18 User 10
COMCAS tidak mencukupi untuk memenuhi keperluan Y.A.
4.
Satu Sesi Latihan akan diadakan oleh pihak LEXIS Malaysia pada bulan
September 2001 untuk membantu Y.A. sekelian dalam penggunaan COMCAS
secara terperinci bagi mendapatkan maklumat yang diperlukan dengan cepat
dan tepat. Butir-butir selanjutnya akan dimaklumkan kemudian kepada Y.A.

Bersama-sama ini disertakan panduan ringkas cara-cara menggunakan
COMCAS dalam pencarian maklumat. Jika Y.A. memerlukan maklumat
tambahan untuk kes-kes dan statut meliputi negara-negara luar daripada negara
Komanwel, dimaklumkan LEXIS.COM ada terdapat di Perpustakaan
Mahkamah Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur dan sila hubungi Perpustakaan untuk
tujuan di atas.

COMCAS or Commonwealth Cases covers access to over 1 million cases
online from across the Commonwealth including United Kingdom, Australia,
Canada, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei , Hong Kong and Ireland.
