adding and updating songs on TouchDJ 2013
machines remotely and to monitor cashbox and
statistics information’s online.
There is no need for being physically present in
front of the machine anymore.
Once an operator has gone through the
networking setup wizard, all features described
below are available immediately. The machine
requires a working internet connection.
At first you need the freeware “CloudBerry
Explorer” for remote control correctly installed.
Secondly the correct login data have to be
entered.
Requirements:
• The terminal has to be connected to the internet
via lan cable (RJ45) or WIFI.

information
2.6.2 Procedure
If your machine was not registered previously,
your network tab will look like the picture on the
right side.
You will need login information (username and
password) for an valid operator that matches
your machine’s dongle country in order to
proceed with the first step of the registration
process. Press the button labeled ‘Next’ to start
the machine registration wizard.

login credentials can be obtained by your
Funworld sales partner. After typing in username
and password the machines does an online
verification check to ensure that the entered
credentials are valid. On succeed you will see
the location that the machine was previously
assigned to, otherwise a list of previously created
locations that are available for assigning to your
terminal.
Possible errors you might receive during the
login:
• Could not find login
You’ve probably mistyped either the
username or the password, please enter
them again. Both are case insensitive, so
you don’t have to care if you use capital
letters or not.

For some reason the used account has been
deactivated by the Funworld personal.
Please contact your Funworld sales partner
to get more information’s
• Operator´s country does not match dongle
country
This error will occur if you try to register a
terminal with a hardware dongle which does
not match the operator’s login country or vice

operator login credentials.
• The used operator has no assigned amazon
S3 account
The used operator has not assigned an
amazon s3 cloud drive account. Please
contact your Funworld sales partner or our

Page 22
Every machine has to be assigned to a location.
On this screen you see a list of previously
created locations.
You may select an already existing location in
case that you have more than one terminal or
replaced an existing machine on this location.
You can also create a new location.
Page 23
Group selection:
On this screen you decide which groups / folders
should be monitored and downloaded to the
terminal. If you select ‘Always download
everything’, the machine will download all mp3’s
that can be found on the cloud store, including
groups and folders which are added later. If you
select specific groups, only the selected ones will
be monitored and downloaded. Files which have
changed since the last synchronization will be
downloaded again.
For an overview of supported formats
please see 2.1.1.
IMPORTANT:
Songs have to be in folders to get imported.
Subfolders will be ignored and not shown.
Only songs from the cloud will be imported.
If a song is deleted from the cloud it will not be
deleted automatically from the TOUCH DJ
terminal.
Automatic synchronization every 30 minutes!
Deleting songs from the TOUCH DJ terminal
is shown under 2.3.1.
By pressing the ‘Next’ button, the registration
process is completed and the overview page
is shown.
Page 24
After exiting the setup environment, the machine
will immediately starts to synchronize the cloud
drive content.
All mp3’s that have been found will be added to
the machines songs library.
For best results the mp3’s should contain a fully
filled out ID3 tag, containing at least the artist and
song name.
Otherwise the library will try to guess the artist
and song name by analyzing the filename of the
mp3. For best results the filename should look
something like this:
<Artist> – <Song>.mp3
Examples:
Abba – Dancing Queen.mp3
Daft Punk – Get Lucky.mp3
Joe Cocker – Unchain My Heart.mp3
The machine will also upload the machine’s song
statistics. The excel file can be found in the
statistics folder on the cloud drive, named with
the machines serial number. The finance account
history is also uploaded and can be viewed using
the online TouchDJ administration tool.
Information and diagnostics:
By pressing the IPConfig button, the terminal lists
a detailed, technical report about the network
hardware, the assigned IP address. This is useful
for analysis and diagnostic purposes and for
checking the internet connectivity.
The ‘Ping Google’ button simply displays the
result of a ping to www.google.com.
The “Trace” button is also for testing the
connection and shows the route of IPs to
google.at.
