Accreditation: Ensuring Skill Value
The College and the campus have put considerable effort into ensuring
that our programs meet international accreditation. At the Campus,
our Business, Carpentry and Pipefitting programs were amongst the
first accredited programs in the College.
Encouraging Non-Traditional career Choices: Women in Trades
Clarenville Campus has always been progressive in encouraging women to
explore non-traditional careers. Each of our programs is well represented by
women. Each year schools tour the campus and many young girls are
exposed to non-traditional careers choices.
During the summer, Clarenville campus hosts GETT camp - Girls Exploring
Trades and Technology. GETT is a program designed and administered by
Women in Resource Development and it introduces girls to technology and
trade careers and encourages them to consider a variety of career choices.
