Unlike many competitive imaging systems, IVIS Plus is designed
to provide you with the maximum number of options for designing
your ID card program.
• The IVIS Plus system enables you to choose the card stock that
best fits your program. You might prefer the greater durability
and longer life that laminated cards offer. Or, you may decide
that PVC cards are a better fit for your specific needs.
• IDenticard carries a full line of off-the-shelf hardware to support
the IVIS system.
• IVIS Plus operates with virtually any Windows®-compatible
printer, including color inkjet (for extra durable laminated cards)
or color PVC.
• IVIS Plus accommodates several technologies. Badges can
include magnetic stripes, bar codes, smart card technology,
and biometric imprinting for access control, data collection,
food service, library checkout, etc.
PVC Cards
All of our IVIS Plus imaging systems are also
compatible with PVC card printers. PVC
cards are an ideal solution when low percard cost is important and durability is less
critical. Plus, they offer more design options
and are attractive and easy to produce.
JetPak Cards
Specifically developed for inkjet printers, this
all-plastic card allows color inkjet printers
to produce ID badges with rich, saturated
photos of unprecedented color quality.
Laminated ID Cards
For durability, nothing can compare to
our wide range of laminated cards. The
protective outer laminate ensures a much
longer life for card data and bar codes.
Plus, laminated cards offer a consistent
appearance of pre-printed logos and
designs and they are compatible with
virtually all types of economical inkjet and
laser printers.
5 Steps to Custom ID:
1. Capture. Clear, sharp image capture is done with a digital
camera, instead of a traditional film-based camera system,
eliminating the need for film.
2. Store. Photos need to be taken only once, and are permanently
stored in the system for future badge reissues and updates.
3. Preview. Digital image capture allows you to preview an image
before printing it. ID photos, signatures and security data are all
stored in the IVIS Plus system.
4. Create. Digital imaging allows you to design your badges right
on the screen, with unlimited possibilities. Badges can include
mag stripes and bar codes, and can be printed on a wide variety
of materials.
5. Manage. IVIS Plus systems can be networked to your time &
attendance, data collection, or access control systems. They can
also be easily upgraded as your needs change.

Picture File Naming Scheme
Allows the operator to define what fields will make up the picture file
name and to choose what graphics file type in which to store the
image. It also makes it easy to share IVIS-stored employee photos
with other software applications.
USB Desktop MIFARE Serial Number
Enrollment Reader
Ideally suited for use with contactless access control programs,
the enrollment reader populates a defined field on the ID badge
with a MIFARE serial number. Plus, it will call up the record of the
member that already exists.
Custom Design Capabilities
The versatile IVIS Plus system includes user-definable badge, database
and screen designs to provide maximum flexibility and control of your
ID badge program.
Relational Database Options
Storing photos and signatures directly in multiple ODBC databases is
convenient and easy with the IVIS system.
Automatic Card Logic
IVIS Plus can automatically select the appropriate card design from
multiple options, based on system operator input.
