Elcab Wires was established in the year 1994 by Mr. Anil Jhamtani, an
engineer from CoEP. As one of the leading engineering corporations, the
Company provides end-to-end solutions, helping its customers use electrical
energy effectively and increase productivity with sustainability. Elcab is now
growing, having a facility which is well equipped with necessary technology
and state-of-the-art manufacturing machines. Elcab Conductors aspires

We make industrial cables & wires ranging from 0.2sq.mm to 240sq.mm in Single core, Multi-core
flexible cables with an insulation of your choice, a sheathing that suits your needs best. We offer
superior-quality Cables at competitive prices. We make multi-core cables upto 50 cores with each
core differentiated by colour. These cables can also be produced with an Aluminum mylar or Copper shield, as per customer’s requirements. These are usually made in sizes such as 7/0.2, 7/0.16,
7/0.15mm in tinned wires. Each core of such cables can be as thin as 1.0mm in diameter. These
cables are used by many Electronics industries & proximity switch manufacturers.

Flame Retardant TPVs for Wire &
Cable Insulation & Sheathing
Elcab manufactures Uninyvin Cables.
These are made from HR (Heat Resistant)
PVC insulation. These are then braided with
fiberglass and Nylon yarns and lacquered
with Ultramid 1C. These are efficient wires
which can withstand temperatures upto
105 deg C and capable of carrying 20%
higher current than standard PVC wires.
• Designed to meet UL 94 – V0 FR rating at various
thicknesses
• Non – Halogenated Flame Retardant TPV
• Halogen Free
• High LOI (limiting oxygen index)
• Low Smoke density
• Lower Specific Gravity
• Higher Current Rating.

under fire conditions leads
to release of harmful toxic gases
in the atmosphere that is lethal
to the people inside the building.
We at Elcab conductors are trying
to shift the trend towards other
variants of PVC such as LSOH and
also towards completely different
engineering plastics such as XLPE &
POLYOLEFIN.
• Because of the thermosetting process
taking place due to the effect of cross
linking, the crack resistance is increased.
• Due to the chemical cross-linking, internal
stresses are reduced. Consequently
the material is less sensitive during
manufacturing process to the setting of
the cooling gradient.
• The thermal resistivity of cross linked
material is favourably low, compared to
the thermoplastic material.
• The low dielectric loss is significant
advantage.
• The excellent mechanical features of the
insulation improve the protection against
external effects.
• The resistance of the XLPE to acids,
alkalies,inorganic salts, solvents and oil
is outstanding and is often compensating
the adverse environmental influences.

Elcab manufactures tinned copper wires for the
Capacitor and Resistor Industry. l Our lead wires
have uniform tin plating thickness of 6 microns.
l We conduct ageing (16 hours at 155oC) and
solderability tests. l This is an import substitute
product developed by us. A dedicated team of
production and Quality Assurance engineers makes
every ELCAB product ahead of competition

Elcab manufactures a wide variety of round and flat copper
braids and ropes in sizes ranging from 0.5sq.mm - 400
sq.mm. We are a leading manufacturer of a wide range of
high quality as well as engineered Wires, Braided Strips &
Ropes, manufactured with electrolytic grade copper wires.
Most of the braids are tailor-made. We make braids in
various lengths and crimped with different types of tube and
std lugs. These are widely used for earthing of automobiles,
instruments, compressors, panel doors, busbars. These are
also used in desoldering wick manufacturing, welding cable
industry, electrical transformer industry etc.
