Join staff from myHealth for Teens & Young Adults
for a workshop that will take some of the mystery
out of puberty and adolescence. Girls age 9-12, and
their mother (or other trusted female), will engage
in activities that help them learn about puberty and
development — what is normal about growing up,
how to have the best parent-child communication
possible, and how to strengthen family bonds.

Experience the colorful magic of fall in the Young

Horse Riding Day Camp
Ages 6+ • Andrea Kreacher, Boulder Pointe Stables
Enjoy the excitement of horseback riding during non-school days this fall! Learn how to
groom, tack-up, lead, and work with horses. Enjoy horse crafts and other activities such
as horseshoe painting, braiding a horse’s mane, bathing horses, playing horse tag, and
helping feed and water horses. Already been to one of our camps? Excellent! Each
time you come back, you will be able to do more on your horse, including trotting
and steering by yourself! Proper attire includes sneakers or boots (closed toe and heel),
long pants, and layers depending on weather. Bring nut-free snacks, a water bottle, and
a nut-free bag lunch. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided. Signed waivers are required.

get the best shots possible.
Explore composition, how to set
up your shot, camera settings, image
selection, and basic photo editing using software.
We work both individually and as a team to create
still lifes, portraits, and landscapes (weather
permitting). Digital SLR, mirrorless, point and
shoot, and cell phones are welcome, or borrow our
equipment if you don’t have a camera. Each child
will leave with a framed 8 x 10 inch photo of their
favorite picture from class.

Ages 5-9
TranscenDance Studio
Explore the basic movements of tumbling to take
your skill to the next level! Using exercises from yoga
to gymnastics, this class helps develop motor skills
and challenges students physically in a fun setting.
Making transitions, taking turns, and working as
a group are regular social skills encouraged in
this lively class. Students will learn backward and
forward rolls, log rolls, somersaults, headstands, and
the basics of balancing, all while increasing body
strength and fitness.
