Jupiter’s Downtown Community
Entertainment & Business Center
I
deally located in Northern Palm Beach County, at the intersection of US
Highway 1 and Indiantown Road on the eastern side of South Florida’s
Intracoastal Waterway, Harbourside Place offers an incomparable value to
its visitors, surrounding residents and involved retailers, restaurants and
businesses. Destined to be the region’s most valued commerce and entertainment
center, Harbourside Place will draw both a local and international crowd; one that
exceeds like developments in Boca Raton, Miami and Naples, Florida.
A
s the final stage of the Town of Jupiter’s 2.5-mile, $510,000,000 community enhancing
endeavor, and the only waterfront development of its kind in Southeast Florida,
Harbourside Place will offer an exclusive “destination effect” to its guests.
Development
With a construction completion date of early 2014, and grand opening scheduled later that year, the
development will offer six main components: restaurant, retail, hotel, cultural, office and marina. Its
ground floor retail and restaurant space will be positioned to attract a high-end crowd and consist of
white tablecloth restaurants, casual restaurants, cafes, home furnishings, art galleries, boutiques, spa,
fashion and cultural settings. The Four Star hotel will cater to leisure, business and visitors of local
residents while the office space will appeal to small local firms and satellite offices for larger companies,
many of which are likely to consist of brokerage and financial services firms. The amphitheater and
surrounding development will host a minimum of 24 events per year, including small concerts,
festivals and cultural exhibits.

Harbourside Place has received political and financial support from local, state
and federal municipalities. The Town Center has received grants in the amount
of approximately $1,400,000 from the Florida Inland Navigation District to
assist in building the seawall, Riverwalk and transient docks along the entire
Intracoastal side. The town council, mayor and local congressional leaders have
been vocal supporters as well, acknowledging that the development will provide
the Town of Jupiter with a sense of identity.
“Not only will Harbourside Place create
business and entertainment opportunities
for Jupiter that are currently lacking,
but the Florida Regional Center will
assist Jupiter and the Treasure Coast
in efforts to position themselves as an
internationally recognized travel, leisure
and biotechnology hub. The Florida
Regional Center and Harbourside Place
have my full endorsement.”

Palm Beach County Overview
T
otaling 2,386 square miles of prime South Florida real estate, Palm
Beach County is the second-largest county in the state. Its 47
miles of beaches, 160 world-class public and private golf courses
and innumerable museums, shops, restaurants, spas and other
cultural venues make the county both a coveted place to live and destination
for travel.
Its strategic location, between Miami and Orlando, allows easy access to all the
major air and seaports in the state of Florida, including the Port of Palm Beach,
the fourth busiest container port of Florida’s 14 deepwater ports. And as part of the
Miami Customs District, utilized by much of Latin America and the Caribbean as
the first destination for goods to be distributed to the rest of the US and Europe,
the region stays busy and prosperous.
According to a 2011 comparative cost analysis by The Boyd Company, Inc., Palm
Beach County ranks 16th among 55 top U.S. locations for corporate headquarters.
The county is home to more than 60 corporate headquarters, which bring high
wage and high skill employment, high visibility, prestige and stability to the area.
Twelve major industry clusters span Palm Beach County, ranging from agribusiness
to aerospace engineering, and over 49,000 companies supply products and services
throughout the state, country and world.

Jupiter Overview
The Town of Jupiter is very focused on controlled growth and proactively imposes
strict zoning and approval regulations to protect projects that are beneficial to the
local market. Its efforts to attract projects that bring quality jobs, economic growth
and overall prosperity to the community have resulted in the town’s wealth, beauty
and popularity. The Town of Jupiter has not only voiced support for Harbourside
Place, but also financially backed the endeavor, having provided commitments for
more than $30 million of bonds, loans and tax incremental financing incentives.
Jupiter’s northern location in the county does not deter from its close proximity to
other points of interest. Jupiter is only 15 minutes north of West Palm Beach, 20
minutes north of Palm Beach International Airport, 1 hour north of Miami and 2
hours south of all Orlando attractions.
