 MAISON BROTTE IS ENLARGING ITS FIOLE COTES DU RHONE SELECTION Maison BROTTE, Family wine House in Châteauneuf-­‐du-­‐Pape, is introducing two news wines, La Fiole Côtes du Rhône white, and La Fiole Côtes du Rhône rosé, as an addition to La Fiole Côtes du Rhône red, which was created in 2011. Volumes of La Fiole Côtes du Rhône red today reach that of the successful La Fiole du Pape. Turnover is growing by 7% in 2015, compared to previous year. Presented in original bottles, contemporary and translucent, the “Fioles Côtes du Rhône” are balanced and agreeable wines, fresh, fruity and round. The bottle shape is inherited from La Fiole du Pape which was created in 1952 by Charles Brotte, grandfather of Laurent Brotte, CEO and owner of the company. A non vintage Châteauneuf-­‐du-­‐Pape presented in a similarly shaped bottle, yet dusted and with authentic style labelling -­‐ La Fiole du Pape is today the most well known and best selling wine of the Châteauneuf-­‐du-­‐Pape appellation. Its unique presentation “travels” around more than 90 countries. ABOUT LA FIOLE CÔTES-­‐DU-­‐RHÔNE SELECTION LA FIOLE COTES-­‐DU-­‐RHONE, RED With the longlasting success of La Fiole du Pape, in 2011, Laurent Brotte decides to extend the concept and satisfy younger consumers looking for innovative fine wines, at an affordable price. He chooses the AOP Côtes du Rhône, accessible yet qualitative. The packaging – unique & ideal gift The bottle shape, that of the original Fiole du Pape, evokes the twisted vine in the local Mistral wind. The glass, transparent and tinted brown, the modernised parchment label position La Fiole as contemporary. The wine – vintage -­‐ AOP Côtes du Rhône Grenache and Syrah are blended and aged during 6 months in the House century old oak tanks. The wine reveals long notes of small black fruits and licorice.
