– Tether extenders are available for all Evenflo Convertible and Booster car seats
• Latch Spacing Update:
– Yes – Center use with lower anchors allowed with bars spaced 11 inches or wider
if vehicle manufacturer permits.
– This change is retroactive for all seats equipped with LATCH.
• Booster and LATCH use
– We do permit the use of tethers and lower anchors, for belt positioning boosters,
as long as the position of the booster seat in the vehicle and/or the resulting fit of
the auto belt over the child are not affected.
– This is retro active for all booster seats.

• Inflatable Seat Belt Policy
– Inflatable seat belts cannot be used in any of Evenflo’s harnessed child restraints, which
include infant, convertible, or combination seats designed for use in motor vehicles and
aircraft. If a seating position has an inflatable seat belt and designated lower anchors,
Evenflo restraints can only be installed in these locations using the LATCH and tether belts
in accordance with all applicable child restraint and vehicle instructions. Evenflo continues
to evaluate inflatable seat belt compatibility and will update recommendations and revise
statements as new data becomes available.
