Location:
The LAX FlyAway® stop is located at the La Brea
Avenue station of the Metro Expo Light Rail Line,
just east of La Brea Avenue, on the south side of
the platform. The station is located six blocks
south of the Santa Monica (I-10) Freeway at the
intersection of Exposition Boulevard and La Brea
Avenue.

There is no short-term or long-term parking
available on-site for this service.
Transit Connections:
Ride Metro Expo Light Rail Line to the LAX
FlyAway® bus stop. Metro bus service to the
station is also available via the 212 Local/312
Limited La Brea Avenue bus, or the Los Angeles
Department of Transportation’s Crenshaw Dash
bus. The 212/312 bus runs between the
Hollywood/Vine Metro Rail Red Line and the
Hawthorne/Lennox Metro Rail Blue Line stations.

Special Fare
To encourage ridership on this new
route, an introductory one-way fare of
$6 will be in effect on the Expo/La
Brea bus route through December 31,
2013. On January 1, 2014, the fare
rises to $7.
Union Station
Location:
The LAX FlyAway®service operates from Bus
Stop 9 at the Patsaouras Transit Plaza at
Union Station. Enter on Vignes Street. The
FlyAway®ticket kiosk is on the south end of
the plaza opposite Bus Stop 9.
Passenger Drop Off/Pick Up:
Motorists entering the plaza should turn right
and proceed counterclockwise around the
plaza to the designated loading zone area on
the west side of the loop. Vehicles can only
stop to drop off or pick up passengers in this
area located between the “Passenger Loading
Zone” signs on the brick pillars to the left and
right of the glass entrance doors to Union
Station. Stopping is not allowed at any other
location in the plaza.
Parking:
Parking is available in the parking garage
located under the bus plaza. The entrance is
on Vignes Street. Daily rate is $6, with a 30day limit.
Transit Connections to Union Station:
Ride Metro Rail, Metrolink or Amtrak to Union
Station for a convenient connection to the LAX
FlyAway®bus service.
Free Wi-Fi:
The buses offer free Internet access.

Location:
The LAX FlyAway®bus stop is located adjacent
to Westwood Village at 11075 Kinross Avenue
in front of UCLA Parking Structure 32, one block
west of Gayley Avenue.
Passenger Drop Off/Pick Up:
Motorists may drop off or pick up passengers at
the southeast corner of UCLA Parking Structure
32. Vehicles that drop off/pick up passengers
may enter and exit the parking structure without
paying a fee.
Parking:
LAX FlyAway® users may park in marked parking
spaces for up to 10 days on the first level of
UCLA Parking Structure 32, in the southeast
corner of the structure (stalls #32015-32039).
This is the corner closest to the LAX FlyAway®
bus stop.

Baggage
The following baggage policy applies on all LAX
FlyAway® buses:
Baggage Liability:
Passenger name identification must be placed
on the outside of all baggage. The owner’s
name and complete permanent address should
be contained inside each piece of luggage.
Liability for baggage is limited to $250 per adult
ticket. Operator accepts no liability for articles
that are carried on board.
Limitations:
Size – No single piece of luggage will be
accepted if its combined length, width and
height exceeds 62 inches. Small items, such as
cosmetics bags, camera bags, briefcases, etc.,
should be carried aboard the bus with you.
Weight – No single piece of luggage or property
weighing in excess of seventy (70) pounds
will be accepted for transportation in baggage
service.
Baggage Allowance – A maximum of three (3)
stowed bags and/or other type of containers,
meeting weight and size limitations specified
above, and one carry-on item per ticketed
passenger will be allowed.
Containers Included in Baggage Allowance:
Sports items such as golf clubs, tennis rackets,
snow or water skis, surfboards or bicycles will
be accepted in fully enclosed containers no
more than 92 inches in length.
Musical Instruments – Musical instruments
will be accepted when enclosed in substantially
rigid containers to withstand handling in regular
baggage service.
Guns or Firearms (Unloaded) – Unloaded guns
or firearms will be accepted only when enclosed
in wood, leather or other substantially rigid
cases.
Wheelchairs – Wheelchairs must meet general
weight limit and fit in the baggage compartment
with the user’s understanding that it might not
be carried in an upright position. Non-spillable
batteries meeting FAA Title 49 accepted. Nonambulatory passengers can be boarded on
wheelchair-lift-equipped buses only.
Prohibited Articles and Receptacles
in Baggage Service – Acids, articles of
extraordinary value, baby carriages, cameras,
electronic equipment (computers, stereos,
radios, television sets, tape recorders, etc.),
chinaware, cylinders containing compressed
gas, explosives, fragile articles, furniture,
loaded guns or other firearms, inflammable
material or liquids, and freight-type articles are
prohibited from being placed in LAX FlyAway®
baggage service. (Operator reserves the right
to determine what constitutes “freight.”)
LAX Drop Off/Pick Up Locations
All LAX FlyAway®buses drop off passengers on the
Upper/Departures Level in front of each terminal at
LAX. Passengers board buses on the Lower/Arrivals
Level curbside in front of each terminal under the green
“FlyAway®, Buses and Long Distance Vans” sign.

The LAX FlyAway® bus service accepts American Express,
Discover, MasterCard and Visa debit or credit cards for
ticket purchases. Cash is NOT accepted on any route.
Cash and credit cards may be used to purchase FlyAway®
tickets from all Metrolink ticket vending machines for
service on the Union Station FlyAway® route. On-line
ticketing is available for Van Nuys and Union Station only
at https://efleet.digital-dispatch.com/bauerslax/.
Monthly Passes
For Information on LAX FlyAway® monthly pass & EZ

FREE FlyAway®Ride for Metrolink Monthly
Pass Holders
Metrolink Monthly Pass holders, who show proof of a
flight to or from LAX on that day, may ride FlyAway® buses
on that day for FREE between Union Station and LAX.
