Q: What’s included in the box?
A: The starter kit includes: Modz blood glucose meter with a blue cover and Moodz
user interfaces, protective cover, Golla Dalton carrying bag, neck strap, lancing
device, charger, user manual and preinstalled and activated SIM card.
Q: Why do I need to purchase the service pack?
The Modz Service pack includes the required measurement strips and lancets, data
subscription and software access. This must be purchased separately to the monitor.
Q: How can my GP view my results?
A: You can give your GP a visitor code which is generated by your Modz Glucose
Monitor. This is valid for one day and can be used to log into the online portal.
Alternatively, you can export or print the results yourself from the portal.
Q: Can I use other test strips in the meter?
A: No, the meter supports only Modz measurement strips.
Q: Can I set reminders for when I need to take my tests?
A: Yes. You can set up to 12 reminders daily to keep you on top of your blood
glucose tests. This includes sound and vibration so you never miss a test.
Q: Can Modz help me keep tracking of my food intake as well?
A: Yes. Keeping an eye on your glucose intake for the day is vital in diabetes
management. You can enter the food you’ve eaten, any exercise you’ve taken as
well as your insulin injections using the Modz Blood Glucose Monitor. This is all
available for viewing later on the device as well as in the online portal.
Q: What different coloured cases are available?
A: We provide a blue case and also a red Angry Birds case.
Q: What is the products warranty?
A: The products warranty is 24 months.
Q: Can the product be used in Europe?
A: Yes. The device can be used anywhere in Europe as it uses a roaming SIM card.
This connects to the strongest network available. All charges are covered in your
monthly service charge so there’s no need to worry about any costs abroad adding
up.
Q: Can the device let my family and friends know my results instantly?
A: Yes. The results are immediately sent by text to a defined mobile phone number.
Additionally, a family, friend or medical professional can log in anytime to the online
portal to view results in real time.
Q: How long does the battery last and is it rechargeable?
A: Yes. The devices is provided with a micro USB charger. The battery life is 1
month when on standby.

A: The device can store up to 3000 tests!
