early to bed. ``Asha beti, Usha'', somebody whispered. Asha sat up
immediately, ``What is it? Who is it?'' she asked.``It is me, Rakhma. Look at
the window'', she whispered. By now Usha also sat up. ``There is nothing
there. It is dark outside'', Asha said. ``See that huge white thing, with red
eyes over there in the left corner. I think it is a gh-gh-ghost'', Rakhma said.
``No, Rakhma, there is no ghost. You are imagining things. Let us sleep,
``Usha said, adjusting her pillow.
