received $91. Thank you to those who participate each
week. This is a great little fundraiser for our parish. There
are envelopes at each entrance to the church. Pick up an

2015 Calendars to Benefit
Mama Maria Center
2015 Calendars are currently for sale in
the rectory office for $10.00 each. They
are beautiful calendars that feature hand
drawn pictures of a different saint for
each month. If you are interested in
purchasing one you may stop by during
office hours. All proceeds will support the effort that is
currently underway to open a faith based formation
center for the youth to gather, learn and grow in the
Catholic faith in the Diocese of Ngong, Kenya.

Religious Items for people in Africa
We are collecting religious items and rosaries (in good
condition) to send to people in Africa. If you have any
rosaries big or small, new or used, they would be greatly
appreciated. Also, statues of saints, all sizes of crucifixes,
small bibles and books of Saints are needed as well.

St. Aloysius Parish
2014-2015 High School Retreats
The Diocesan Youth Ministry Office has teamed up with Rivier
University’s Office of Campus Ministry to offer day-long retreats
for high school students in the diocese.
Retreats are designed for 9th and 10th graders.
Rivier students and staff will facilitate the day, which will include a
celebration of the Eucharist.
Dates:
February 8, 2015 and March 22, 2015
Location: Rivier University, Dion Center Reception Room
Time: 9:15 a.m. registration, 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. program. Lunch
will be included.

Youth Ministry News
The youth will be on vacation from Dec. 22nd through January 4th
(Lifeteen) and January 9th (EDGE). We hope you enjoyed this

Bereavement Support Groups
In order to better serve you, our cemetery now offers bereavement
support for both individuals and groups. This is facilitated by Betty
Klamka, cemetery administrator. Betty is a certified spiritual
director, healthcare chaplain, and has worked with groups in the
past both at St. Joseph Hospital and Greenbriar Terrace. The
groups are small, and meet on Friday mornings at 10am. Please
call the cemetery office for more information and registration at
886-1302. There is also a bereavement group for husbands who
have lost wives being formed. We will meet either daytime or
evenings or both depending on the response or need. Please call
Betty Klamka at the cemetery office to inquire or register.

Fatima & Bernadette
Camp Fatima for boys and Camp Bernadette for girls are
now accepting online registrations for the 2015 summer

St. Christopher School Open Houses
St. Christopher School in Nashua will hold Open Houses
for prospective students and their families on Thursday,
January 8, 2015 from 9:30-11:00 AM, as well as on
Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Located at 20 Cushing Ave in Nashua, St. Christopher
School offers a superior Catholic elementary education
with high academic and moral standards for students in
grades Prekindergarten through six. In addition to English,
science, social studies, mathematics and religion, students
receive weekly instruction in Spanish, music, art, computer
skills, physical education, and library science. The
traditional curriculum is enhanced by interactive

La Sagrada Familia
Entre el domingo de la Navidad y el Año Nuevo celebramos en la
Iglesia la fiesta en honor a la Sagrada Familia. La palabra "sagrada"
quizá suena extraña en nuestro lenguaje actual. Al ver las
estadísticas es difícil de creer lo que nuestras familias sufren. Por
ejemplo, se dice que una de cada tres mujeres es maltratada en el
mundo. Nos cuentan que la tasa de divorcio en los Estados Unidos
es del 53 por ciento. Y nos informan que los niños nacidos fuera del
matrimonio promedian anualmente 327.000. La liturgia de hoy nos
ayuda a reflexionar en lo "sagrado" de la familia, y de cómo ser
"sagrados" en la vida familiar. ¿Qué es un hogar feliz? ¿Cómo se
forma un hogar sagrado? ¿Qué puede hacer cada miembro de la
familia para mantener relaciones sanas con los suyos?
Jesús necesitaba a su familia para crecer. María y José amaban y
cuidaban de Jesús. No lo dejaban solo, sino que compartían su fe
con él: lo llevaban a la sinagoga para rezar. La historia de cada
familia es una historia de amor que se forja en la vida cotidiana. Pero
suceden casos que nos llaman la atención. En junio pasado, los
medios de comunicación nos sorprendieron con los niños de la
frontera. Personalmente, no me cabía la idea de que sus padres los
dejaran viajar solos. ¡Era imposible! Pero así fue y sigue siendo.
Hemos descuidado a nuestros niños, que necesitan un hogar para
crecer y sentirse seguros. El Evangelio nos dice: "Y cuando
cumplieron todo lo que prescribía la ley del Señor, se volvieron a
Galilea, a su ciudad de Nazaret. El niño iba creciendo y
fortaleciéndose, se llenaba de sabiduría y la gracia de Dios estaba
con él" (Lc 2, 39-40). ¡Aprendamos de la familia de Jesús!

Bautismos
Las Charlas Pre-bautismales serán todos los 2do sábados de
cada mes a la 1pm en Milette Manor. Los papas y padrinos
deben asistir. Los bautizos en español son el 2do y 4to
domingo del mes a las 12:30pm. Pueden llamar a la
oficina parroquial para más información o para inscribirse.
Adoración al Santísimo Sacramento
~Adoración en la capilla Corpus Christi todos los lunes, martes y
jueves de 12pm a 8pm (48 Franklin St. Nashua, NH)
~Adoración todos los miércoles en la Parroquia San Luis de
Gonzaga, de 9am a 6:45pm. Todos los miércoles durante la
Adoración en la parroquia tendremos la coronilla a la Divina
Misericordia a las 3pm.
~ El segundo sábado de cada mes tenemos Adoración Nocturna de
10pm a 5am en la Parroquia San Luis de Gonzaga. ¡Están todos
invitados!
Noticias de la Pastoral Juvenil
Los jóvenes comenzarán sus vacaciones el 22 de diciembre y
reanudarán sus reuniones el 4 de enero (Lifeteen) y el 9 de enero
(EDGE).

2015 Calendarios a Beneficio del Centro
Mamá María
Los calendarios del 2015 están ya a la venta en la oficina
parroquial. El precio por calendario es de $10. Éstos
calendarios cuentan con imágenes de santos dibujadas a
mano por miembros del centro Mamá María en África. Si
usted está interesado en comprar un calendario puede pasar
por la oficina durante horario regular. Todos los fondos
recaudados serán para apoyar el esfuerzo que se está
llevando a cabo para abrir un centro de formación en la fe
para la juventud en la Diócesis de Ngong, Kenia.
