Summer renovation projects—Many projects were completed over the
summer by our volunteer maintenance committee, headed by Stan Muir and
also by our summer student. Some of the projects included: Building the St.
Vincent de Paul storage room; painting of bathrooms; repairs and painting in
parish centre and church; new floor in room 3 of the parish centre; new steps
to the parish office; and many small repair jobs throughout. Thank you to
Stan and his volunteers for continuing to keep our church
in great repair. Also completed a few new windows in the
rectory and a new door into the parish office. Thank you
to the parishioners for providing the funds through our
renovation collection.
Saint Teresa of Calcutta: On Sunday, October 16, at 5 pm at

of Thanksgiving to thank God for the honour bestowed upon
Teresa of Calcutta in declaring her a Saint. At the end of
Mass you will have the opportunity to venerate a first class
relic of this modern-day saint who inspired the world with her love of
and service to the poorest of the poor.
