Playing the game...
Pool like golf is about you, the player, and the table.
You control the shots and therefore the game. If you
allow your opponent to shoot they may beat you. If
you make shooting difficult for your opponent you
improve your chances of winning. Defense is yet
another tool in your arsenal of pool weapons. Play
smart! Force your opponent into mistakes and win
more easily. Too often players attempt difficult
shots (low percentage shots); rather than playing to
leave their opponent in a difficult position. The
smart player, that is you, will play his opponent
defensively and wait to capitalize on errors.
