Sobre nosotros
Tomcas Work and Safety Shoes, Corp., fue establecido en 1987. Ofrecemos servicios de venta y entrega
de calzado de seguridad y de trabajo para damas y caballeros. Además tenemos disponibles otros
equipos de seguridad tales como capacetes, capas protectoras, gafas, guantes, chalecos reflectivos, etc.
Estamos ubicados en la Avenida Iturregui, en Carolina, con fácil acceso por vías principales como el
expreso Baldorioty de Castro y la Ave. Jesús T. Piñero. Contamos con dos unidades móviles (estilo
tienda) para demostración, ventas y entregas y dos unidades móviles de menor tamaño para entregas
especiales o de ordenes por pequeñas cantidades. El horario de servicio es de lunes a viernes de 8:30am
a 5:00pm y sábados de 9:00am a 2:00pm. Poseemos la certificación de empresa minoritaria provista por
el Puerto Rico Minority Supplier and Development Council y fuimos galardonados por el SBA con el 2011
Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Business of the year award para la región de PR y US Virgin Island.
Nuestros Servicios
Nuestros productos son de alta calidad y los precios son altamente competitivos, pero es nuestro
servicio y garantía el que nos distingue de los competidores. En Tomcas nos esmeramos por brindarles a
nuestros clientes un servicio excelente basado en flexibilidad, honestidad y confiabilidad, ofreciendo
servicios de entregas a cualquier punto de la Isla. Las visitas en los camiones requieren un mínimo de 15
pares en área metropolitana y 25 pares en área no metropolitana, estar en ruta mensual o un cargo
adicional de $50.00 dólares área metropolitana y $ 125.00 isla. Los horarios de entrega son de 8:30 a
5:00pm, en caso de necesitar una entrega fuera de horario (tercer turno) puede coordinarse con
anticipación con un cargo fijo de $125.00 a $150.00.
Nuestras visitas a los clientes nos permiten ver de cerca las condiciones de trabajo y así poder hacer
recomendaciones sobre el calzado adecuado, de manera que el usuario obtenga un mejor rendimiento
por su dinero y una mayor satisfacción para todas las partes. Para facilitar la coordinación con nuestros
clientes, establecemos un calendario de visitas (de acuerdo a las necesidades de cada cliente) y
horarios que son anunciados con anticipación. Incluimos una facturación detallada que facilita la
distribución de los costos entre los departamentos. A la vez se genera un reporte en Excel que se envía
mensualmente por correo electrónico que incluye los nombres de los empleados que han recibido
zapatos, el número de empleado, área de trabajo, modelo y tamaño seleccionado, fecha, entre otros
detalles que pueden ser modificados según la necesidad de la compañía que compra. Este reporte
facilita identificar que empleados reemplazan los calzados con frecuencia y si existe un área de trabajo
en que el consumo sea mayor.
Nuestros Productos
Poseemos una gran variedad de calzado de seguridad con alrededor de 200 estilos entre más de 20 de
las principales líneas entre ellas Timberland PRO, Rockport, Carolina Shoes, Wolverine, Reebook,
Skechers, Puma, Florsheim, Keen, Thorogood, Mellow Walk , Iron Age, Carthartt, Propet, Merrell,
entre otras. Además todos nuestros estilos cumplen o exceden los más altos estándares establecidos
por la Oficina de Seguridad y Salud en el Empleo (OSHA por sus siglas en ingles).
Nuestros Clientes
Nuestros clientes incluyen empresas privadas y públicas como: farmacéuticas, equipo médico,
distribución, carga terrestre y marítima, gobierno, utilidades, entre otras. Entre nuestros clientes se
destacan Amgen, Lilly del Caribe, AstraZeneca, Mylan, Novartis, , Abbott, FedEx, Universidad de Puerto
Rico, Con Waste, Mapfre, entre otros.
Garantía y términos de pago
Los calzados de seguridad entregados tendrán treinta días (30) de garantía por defectos de manufactura
desde la fecha de entrega. La garantía por defectos de manufactura, no por exceso de uso, desgastes,
mal uso, accidentes, descuido del empleado o molestias luego de utilizados. Para cambios por garantía
por defectos de manufactura los zapatos tendrán que estar limpios y los mismos se podrán hacer en
nuestro almacén. La garantía puede ser el arreglo o reemplazo según sea el caso. Para cambios por
tamaños los zapatos deberán estar sin usar. (Ni una hora ni un ratito). Recomendamos que se prueben
los mismos en una superficie limpia. Cambios aceptados hasta 30 días calendarios luego de entregados
con copia de factura. Bajo ningún concepto TOMCAS aceptará la devolución de zapatos usados. Del
zapato seleccionado por la compañía o empleado no estar disponible se le enviaría a buscar sin costo
adicional y se entregaría en una próxima visita. Se sugiere a la compañía y sus empleados que elijan un
calzado de acuerdo a la labor que realiza. No se honra garantía por exceso de uso o desgaste.
De haber una diferencia entre el costo del zapato y la cantidad asignada por la compañía, la misma debe
ser pagada al momento o de llegar a un acuerdo entre ambas partes la compañía puede pagar y luego
deducir la misma al empleado. En la tienda y el camión se aceptan las principales tarjetas de débito y
crédito al igual que efectivo. No se aceptan cheques personales.
La compañía tendría un término de pago de treinta y días (30) luego de terminada la entrega a menos
que en el contrato inicial establecido y aceptado pr ambas partes medie otro acuerdo. Se le añadirá un
5 % al total de la factura de llegar a un término de pago mayor a 45 días y un 10% si esta es pagada
luego de 60 días de finalizada la entrega. Toda compañía tiene que llenar la hoja de crédito antes de
efectuar la compra.

Ni una hora ni un ratito. Mídase los mismos en una superficie limpia.
La garantía no es por molestias después de usados.
Nadie compra un zapato usado.
Elija un calzado adecuado para su trabajo.
Las tennis no son recomendadas para construcción o trabajos fuertes.
Las botas pegadas pueden ceder al estirar y despegarse un poco al lado.
Todas las suelas slip resistant no son recomendadas para área de cocina.
Si no esta seguro, ni cómodo, debe pensar mejor la compra.
Las botas waterproof son resistente a agua pero hay que darles mantenimiento y
son resistentes hasta cierto punto de la bota.
Si trabaja con mucha agua tenemos disponibles botas de goma con y sin gabetes.
La garantía es por defectos de manufactura, no por exceso de uso, mal uso, descuido,
accidente en el trabajo, desgastes o molestias después de usados.
Si se quita el zapato halando uno con el otro y se despega de atrás NO es garantía.
La garantía puede ser el arreglo o el remplazo de los zapatos a
discreción de Tomcas.
Si es diabético debe estar seguro que el calzado no le molesta.
15 días para cambio si están sin usar( ni una hora , ni un ratito),
en su empaque original y copia de la factura.
Recomendaciones para la limpieza de calzado
• Después de cada uso Pase un paño húmedo o una esponja y
un detergente suave para sacar el fango y/o el exceso de polvo.
• Si esta húmedo, desamarre la bota completamente, remueva
la plantilla y deje que se seque. Evitando así la aparición de hongos.
Puede utilizar un secador de pelo para agilizar el proceso.
• Para mantener la piel suave se aconseja utilizar grasa para zapatos,
aceites o cremas hidratantes que no contengan alcohol. Así evita la piel
reseca y el agrietamiento.
• Si desea, existen productos que ayudan a impermeabilizar
el calzado y mantener el mismo.
• La limpieza también ayuda a su rendimiento e inspección
del mismo en caso que se necesite reemplazo.
• No espere hasta el último momento para reemplazar su zapato o
bota por uno nuevo.

Limpieza de calzado
• Después de cada uso Pase un paño húmedo o una esponja y un detergente
suave para sacar el fango y/o el exceso de polvo.
• Si esta húmedo, desamarre la bota completamente, remueva la plantilla y
deje que se seque. Evitando así la aparición de hongos. Puede utilizar un
secador de pelo para agilizar el proceso.

cremas hidratantes que no contengan alcohol. Así evita la piel reseca y el
agrietamiento.
• Si desea, existen productos que ayudan a impermeabilizar el calzado y
mantener el mismo.
• La limpieza también ayuda a su rendimiento e inspección del mismo en caso
que se necesite reemplazo.
• No espere hasta el último momento para reemplazar su zapato o bota por
uno nuevo.

Términos de entrega de calzado de trabajo con seguridad:
Los calzados de seguridad entregados tendrán treinta días (30) de garantía por defectos de manufactura desde la fecha
de entrega. La garantía por defectos de manufactura, no por exceso de uso, mal uso o descuido del empleado. Para
cambios por garantía por defectos de manufactura los zapatos tendrán que estar limpios y los mismos se podrán hacer
en nuestro almacén. La garantía puede ser el arreglo o reemplazo según sea el caso. Para cambios por tamaños los
zapatos deberán estar sin usar. (Ni una hora ni un ratito). Recomendamos que se prueben los mismos en una superficie
limpia. Cambios aceptados hasta 30 días calendarios luego de entregados con copia de factura. BAJO NINGÚN
CONCEPTO TOMCAS ACEPTARÁ LA DEVOLUCIÓN DE ZAPATOS USADOS.
Las visitas en los camiones requieren un mínimo de 15 pares en área metropolitana y 25 pares en área no
metropolitana o un cargo de $75.00 dólares área metropolitana y $ 125.00 isla. Los horarios de entrega son de 8:30 a
5:00pm, en caso de necesitar una entrega fuera de horario (tercer turno) puede coordinarse con anticipación con un
cargo fijo de $125.00 a $150.00, no importa la cantidad de pares a entregar. Tiene un período de cancelación de hasta
48 horas antes de la cita pautada sin cargo. De no cancelar en este período tendrá un cargo de $100.00. Para entregas
en unidad móvil se requiere hacer cita con anticipación para poder coordinar la misma. Los servicios URGENTES
conllevan un cargo adicional y estaría sujeto a disponibilidad.
Del zapato seleccionado por la compañía o empleado no estar disponible se le enviaría a buscar sin costo adicional y se
entregaría en una próxima visita. Se sugiere a la compañía y empleados que elijan un calzado de acuerdo a la labor que
realiza. No se honra garantía por exceso de uso o desgaste.
De haber una diferencia entre el costo del zapato y la cantidad asignada por la compañía, la misma debe ser pagada al
momento, o la compañía se lo deducirá luego al empleado.
La compañía tendrá un término de pago de treinta días (30) luego de terminada la entrega. Se le añadirá un 5 % al total
de la factura de llegar a un término de pago mayor a 45 días y un 10% si esta es pagada luego de 60 días de finalizada la
entrega. Si la cuenta presenta balance en exceso de 90 días el crédito será cancelado hasta tanto se salden las facturas
que estén con dicha fecha de vencimiento. Usted y su negocio y/o corporación aceptan que, de tener que someter esta
cuenta en cobros, ya sea por la vía judicial o extrajudicial, el firmante garantizador y el cliente acuerden pagar un quince
por ciento (15%) adicional a la deuda, como penalidad, más los intereses legales desde que la deuda es exigible. Que de
recurrirse a la vía judicial, el mismo se someterá en el Tribunal de Primera Instancia, Sala de San Juan. Además del
quince por ciento (15%) antes indicado, y los intereses legales, el cliente y el garantizador, solidariamente, acuerdan
pagar las costas, gastos y veinticinco por ciento (25%) del total de la deuda, en honorarios de abogado a TOMCAS
CORPORATION.
En caso de que TOMCAS CORPORATION tenga que recurrir al cobro de dineros a deudar y no pagados me someto y/o
nos sometemos expresamente a la jurisdicción y competencia del Tribunal de Primera Instancia, Sala de San Juan. Esto,
irrelevante de la cantidad envuelta en la reclamación entendiéndose, expresamente, que se renuncia a solicitar cambio
de este foro judicial, por razón de la cuantía envuelta y por razón de territorio o “Venue”.
De necesitar más tiempo para pago se requiere un acuerdo por escrito de ambas partes, de no mediar nada por escrito
se establece el término de pago establecido por TOMCAS.
