Our CEO, Whitney Walker,
has roamed the planet finding
unusual architectural antiques in her visits to over
40
countries.
She has traveled from the museums of London, Paris, Frankfurt, New York,
Cairo and Buenos Aires, the antique fairs in San Ouen, and Avignon to the
backstreets of Florence and Istanbul.
We have built our collections from studying ancient books, museum pieces and buying historically accurate originals. The majority of our cast stone brackets and finials are hand cast directly from the original
architectural fragments. At the Grace Hardware, we enjoy bringing this unique, ancient authenticity
directly to your home.

We
use only sustainable , reforested wood for
the following reasons :
1 Protection from illegal harvesting, clear cutting.
2 Sites of significance to indigenous peoples shall be protected.
3 Maintain watersheds and fisheries.
4 Conserve biological diversity, water resources, soils, and ecosystems.
5 Protect endangered species and their habitats.
Pine seedlings ready for reforestation.
6 Ecological values shall be maintained: a) Forest regeneration and succession,
b) Genetic, species and ecosystems diversity. c) Natural cycles that affect the
productivity of the forest ecosystem.
7 Use of genetically modified organisms shall be prohibited.
8 Documentation to trace each forest product from its origin, known as the C.O.C.,
“chain of custody.”
9 Plantations designed for conservation of natural forests, wildlife corridors and
streamside zones.
Sustainable maintained forest
10 Techniques of harvesting will not degrade soil, water quality or deviate streams.
11 Pest management by prevention and biological methods rather than chemical

Our hand applied finishes have the charm and eccentricities of old European antiques. Our Statuary Bronze Verdigris is inspired by the satin finish of the dark bronze
sculptures of Rodin and Bernini with matte pale green verdigris in the carving crevices adding a unique combination of depth and light reflection. Our pale Spearmint
and Wintergreen offer a unique opportunity in pastels, good with a light hand or a
sense of humor. Saxony Oak is inspired by the warm golden tones of antique oak
beams and furniture. European Walnut is the deeper darker
wood tones of fine quality European antiques.
