Schedule of Adventure stay-over in
the Îles de la Madeleine
Cruise Itinerary
CTMA offers the one and only cruise to the Îles de la
Madeleine from Montreal. And to make your experience
even more memorable, add a bonus Adventure Package to
your one-week cruise. During your stay in the Islands, you
will have the opportunity to sleep in a yurt, try out sea
kayaking, participate in cookouts and discover wonderful
out-of-the-way places.

Boarding at the Port of Montreal and
welcome aboard by the Madelinot crew

Cruising on the St. Lawrence River and
along the Gaspé coast
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
Stay-over in the Îles de la Madeleine
Wednesday
Stopover* in Gaspésie and cruising on
the St. Lawrence River

The whales of Tadoussac, Charlevoix,
and stopover* in Quebec City

Return to Montreal
* Excursions for sale on the ship or bicyle trails near the Chandler and Quebec City ports.
Special Itinerary ! The cruise from September 6 to 13,
2013, will make a stopover at La Baie in the Saguenay region,
rather than in Gaspésie. The stopover at the Islands will only be
for 2 days, however compensation will be provided for the one
less day of activities on the archipelago.
N. B. Please note that this itinerary may be changed due to
unavoidable circumstances.

south of the archipelago by bike
Grosse-Île
• Reception and information session with the Vert et Mer team
• 35 km bike ride to the island of Havre-Aubert, with optional
20 km loop (self-guided formula)
• Lunch is provided either picnic-style or at a local restaurant
• Discovery of the La Grave historic site
• Return to the ship by bus (or transportation to La Grave
in the morning and return to the ship by bike in the
afternoon, depending on wind direction)
• Evening meal at a local restaurant

• Evening meal at a local restaurant
N. B. Please note that this schedule may change depending on
weather conditions.

Things to know :
• The bike is provided, but you can bring your own equipment
if you prefer.
• Sea kayaks and equipment are provided.
• For the overnight in the yurts, equipment is provided
(sleeping bags, pillows, etc.). There is no electricity on site;
propane lamps are available, but it is advisable to bring
a flashlight.
• It is recommended to bring warm, comfortable clothes.
