Esthetic Program
The Esthetic Institute Training Center, a division of Beauty Depot, is a premier educational
facility that offers aspiring and experienced Estheticians a high standard of Esthetic training
by professional and qualified educators.
Located in Calgary, Alberta, The Esthetic Institute is one of the newest Esthetic training
facilities attracting students nationally. Our newly expanded 5,400 square foot Training
Center, offers both beginner and advanced certified courses in a beautiful spa-like ambient

Our primary goal is to ensure your success as an Esthetician! Each one of our instructors
specializes in different areas of Esthetics and is dedicated to providing you with all of the

of theory and hands on practical training. In most classes, external practicums must be
completed followed by an exam. The Esthetic Institute believes in limiting our class sizes to

This intensive certified Facial course includes training
in bacteriology and sanitation, cell structure, muscle
and skeletal systems, skin histology and physiology,
disorders and diseases, skin type evaluations,
extractions and massage. Students will learn
differentiating techniques that add relaxation and
nurturing to the facial. Procedures will include a basic
deep pore cleansing facial with steam, European facial
and an introduction to acne, anti-aging, and sensitive
skin facials. In addition, you will be introduced to the
use of high frequency, galvanic, rotary brush and
micro-stimulation. Models required. Quotas required.
Acceptance and Scheduling of Classes
Students will be invited to meet with our Education Director for an initial meeting / consultation
to discuss all program details, tour our facility and have an opportunity to ask any questions.
Students must be at least 18 years of age and may be asked to complete an entrance exam
prior to acceptance. Typically, students will complete our program within 5 to 6 months;
however 1 year is permitted to complete all courses. Our Education Director will assist you
in setting up your own personalized schedule and help you select a start date. Students will
have various options and flexibility in designing their own course schedule and will select
their courses from our 2011 schedule of classes for each module. For those students who are
unable to complete training on weekdays, we are also pleased to offer the entire program on
weekends.
Please note that 50 of the tuition is due upon registration and the remaining balances will
be due upon the start of each class. Upon completion, students will receive their Esthetician
Certification in addition to receiving individual certificates for each completed course. Please
note that their will be no course substitutions made to the program.
