Rectangular Silencers
SF Series Silencers
Standard Frequency silencers provide broad-band attenuation
with excellent performance in mid and upper frequencies.
Available in a wide range of sizes with single section silencers
up to 48” x 48” x 120” long. We provide the widest range of
tested lengths in the industry from our testing laboratory to
assure consistent performance for all sizes. We also provide
two models (94 and 34) that carry the AMCA 1011 seal for
certified acoustical and air performance to give you peace of
mind when selecting Dynasonics silencers.
SF Series Silencers
(Standard Frequency Silencers)
LF Series Silencers
Low Frequency silencers provide superior attenuation
in the low frequencies while optimizing sound absorbing qualities in the mid and upper frequencies. This
series offers the widest range of models allowing the
best balance between attenuation and pressure drop.
Dynasonics Acoustical Testing Laboratory is one of
one of the most sophisticated in North America with
testing in full compliance to ASTM E477.
LF Series Silencers
(Low Frequency)
PF Series Silencers
Protected Fill silencers offer the same great performance as
the SF series with the addition of a protective barrier covering
the acoustical fill. Various barriers are available to restrict the
precipitation of glass fiber particles into the air stream making
the PF series the right choice for hospital, clean room or any
application where acoustical fill particles may pose a problem.

Rectangular Silencers
NF Series Silencers
Featuring "best in class" performance that shatters previous
industry leading attenuation levels by an average of 30% at an
average 14% lower pressure loss, Dynasonics has truly set a new
standard in performance. These dramatic advancements are achieved
by means of specially adapted perforated metal baffles that reduce
cavitation, minimize pressure loss, and simultaneously filter unwanted
noise through a series of highly tuned resonant cavities. Although
effective from 31.5 Hz to 8000 Hz, the NF-Series’ attenuation is
specifically engineered for maximum noise reduction from 125 Hz to
2000 Hz and achieves peak performance in the 500 Hz octave band.
These silencers are ideally suited for hospitals, clean rooms or other
critical environments where fibers in the air stream can’t be tolerated.
With four models and three lengths (36", 72" & 108") to choose from,
attenuation and pressure loss are easily optimized to meet the most
demanding performance requirements.
NF Series Silencers
EBS Series Silencers
The Elbow silencers are acoustically engineered with an aerodynamic
design to attain maximum attenuation and to minimize static pressure
drop. Built as a turning vane, the EBS Silencer is an excellent
alternative to the standard silencer and helps maintain stabilized
air flow.
Dynasonics testing laboratory provides a wide range of test
configurations and generates the most comprehensive and dependable
performance data in the industry.

Acoustical Louvers
Acoustical louvers are available in galvanized steel, stainless
steel or aluminum. Louvers are available in 4, 6, 8 and 12
inch deep designs with “J” blade and Airfoil blade designs.
Acoustical louvers are designed to allow air flow while
providing exceptional transmission loss with minimal
pressure drop.
Each factory assembled louver section is designed to
withstand a minimum design loading of 30 pounds per
square foot.
Louvers are available in a baked enamel, Kynar, anodized
or prime coat finish.

Tubular Silencers
ST Series Silencers
(Standard Frequency)
ST Series
The ST Series of tubular silencers are designed to provide
excellent broad-band attenuation at lower static pressures in round
duct applications where air velocities may be as high as 4,000 fpm.
Standard construction provides a rectangular outer body for
increased attenuation with round duct connections. ST silencers are
available in sizes from 12” diameter to 24” diameter in 1” increments
and larger diameters in 2” increments up to 60”. Standard length is
twice the connecting duct diameter. Larger custom sizes are
available. Please contact your local Dynasonics representative for
assistance. ST Series silencers are also available with a conical
Extended Bullet that reduces pressure drop without changing the
acoustical performance of the silencer or requiring additional duct
length for installation.
Acoustical Diffuser Cones
Designed for installation on the outlet of vane axialtype fans, the Acoustical Diffuser Cone provides
quality acoustic and aerodynamic performance.
The ADC can reduce system pressure drop if used in
place of a standard trap due to its high efficiency
static regain.
Acoustical Diffuser Cones
BT Series Silencers
BT Series
Similar to the ST series the BT series of Tubular silencers are
designed to provide broad-band attenuation in round duct
applications where air velocities may be as high as 4,000 fpm when
only a modest amount of attenuation is required. They are available
in sizes from 12” diameter to 24” diameter in 1” increments and
larger diameters in 2” increments up to 60”. Standard length is
three times the connecting duct diameter. BT Series silencers are
also available with a conical Extended Bullet that reduces pressure
drop without changing the acoustical performance of the silencer
or requiring additional duct length for installation.
As a company dedicated to our customers, Dynasonics offers a 5 year warranty on all
standard products. We deliver unequaled performance and our warranty lets you know
we will stand behind our product.

Plenum Sound Panels
SonaGuard Panels and Enclosures
Dynasonics’ Sonaguard acoustical panels and enclosures
are engineered to provide the highest levels of transmission loss,
sound absorptions, and thermal insulation. The tongue-in-groove
design provides a structurally rigid wall, as well as a clean finished
look without the need for separate joint trim or connection pieces.
Because of their modular design they are an excellent choice for
both commercial HVAC and industrial applications. In commercial
HVAC applications they are used for acoustical air plenums, built-up
air handling unit, and fan enclosures to reduce the amount of HVACgenerated industrial environments around generators, turbines, compressors, granulators, other types of noise generating equipment.
Sound Room
Panels
SonaGuard sound panels protect workers from hazardous noise
levels and help installations meet local code requirements for
environmental noise. Dynasonics SonaGuard panels are also
available in a "back-less" version to retrofit existing mechanical
rooms with hard surface walls to absorb noise and reduce reflected
sound. Available in a variety of materials, SonaGuard products can
be manufactured to meet your project application and environment.
Dynasonics offers fully integrated acoustical enclosures including
acoustical access doors, windows, ventilation silencers, and
removable wall sections for servicing large equipment.
Return Air Silencers
Sonavent
Dynasonics SonaVent silencers provide a wide range of
economical installation solutions for venting return or
transfer air between rooms and corridors or continuous
air circulation between several rooms while providing
maximum suppression of speech and sound migration
along the air path. They provide essential privacy and
security while maintaining continuous air flow.
Sonavents/RAs
• Model “RA” silencers are designed for and tested for return air ventilation grilles in offices, conference
rooms, school rooms, theaters, hotels and motels, libraries, auditoriums and broadcasting studios.
• Model “Z” silencers are designed for maximum noise reduction in “through-wall” applications. These
silencers are installed within the wall cavity during construction and are available in depths to fit standard
wall thicknesses.
• Model “L” silencers provide ventilation through a wall or ceiling into a common air shaft or plenum while
reducing transmission of sound through the vent opening. “L” silencers can be installed in existing
construction to provide additional ventilation without compromising privacy concerns.
