Schedule Star’s patented Game Wizard sets defaults for facilities, transportation, and depart and
return times for games. When you schedule your varsity team for any sport, Game Wizard automatically
schedules the sub levels of that sport. For example, when you associate your JV Football with your
Varsity Football, both events will be scheduled at the same time. You have complete control.
Click on the Game Wizard
button near the bottom of the
page.
Click NEW.
1. Enter the gender,
level, and sport for the
team that you will add
defaults.
(We suggest that you
start with the lowest
level, as the defaults
will follow that team
later even when you
piggyback it to another
level). For example, put in
Boys Varsity Basketball.

Set your away game defaults. If you are doing a sub-varsity team,
this is usually all you need to enter.
Click Save to move to the next step.

game defaults. Choose
the facility where your
home games are
played. If you need
transportation for your
home games, enter it
here.

5. Once you have set all of your lower level defaults, you are ready to do your Varsity
level. Set the Facility and Transportation defaults first.
6. To add teams,
choose EITHER
HOME or AWAY.
IF HOME or IF AWAY
add gender, level, and
sport.

7. Enter the event time
that the level usually
plays. For example, if
Varsity plays at 6 pm
and JV plays at 3:30
pm, enter 3:30 for the
JV team.

8. Verify if the team plays on the same day as the Varsity, select SAME. If
the teams play on a different day, choose PREVIOUS or SAME then specify
which day. For example, if Varsity plays on Friday and JV plays the previous
Thursday, choose PREVIOUS then "Thursday". If the teams play at the
opposite place from Varsity, click to put a check in OPPOSITE PLACE.
9. Click Add to save. (YOU MUST CLICK ON ADD. IF THE TEAM IS NOT LISTED IN
THE BOX, IT WILL NOT BE SAVED).
10. Click on Save to save all of your preferences.
EDITING A TEAM - Click Edit. Make your changes. Click Add.
Now, when you schedule your Boys Varsity
Basketball game, your Boys Junior Varsity,
Boys Freshman, Girls Varsity Basketball,
and any teams you choose, they will be
scheduled at the same time. When you
add the Boys Varsity Basketall game, a
box will pop up asking you to confirm that
you want to add all of the other games. You
can click off any games you do not need to
schedule at that time. Game Wizard also
works with Copy & Edit and Mirror.
